Getting the team together to celebrate saint patricks day.

On my way to this year's Iowa Deer Classic I found myself aimlessly wandering the blank white, frozen, snow covered hills of some of the best whitetail habitat in IA and MO with arguably one of the best whitetail hunters in the world, Jeff Simpson.

Let me tell you...training for a tri athlon did NOT prepare me for sludging around in a foot of crunchy snow for 8 hours....I was one sore dude the next day at the show.

6 sheds (none of which I found) a pack of sour jolly ranchers, hundreds of photos with my new camera, sunshine, deer, turkeys, and a nice Albia, IA mexican dinner to top it all off.....equaled an unforgettable day in the whitetial woods....now even more jazzed for November:)
