Flash 20 Pack
This is the first of the photo galleries that will highlight each of our packs for this year. We get questions about the various features on our packs and wanted to post some detailed pictures to give everyone a better look. The torso length on all of the packs has been extended this year. So the fit will be much better for the guys who have had trouble getting our packs to fit well in the past.
This will be the place to ask questions that you have, so let us know what you think and if you need to see any other views!

Hey Andrew!
We're not sure off the top of our heads... Please give us a call at 1.877.SITKA.GR, and we can help you figure it out!
Thanks

I removed the frame in my pack for a short period of time for domestic purposes and returned it. Since putting it back in I am feeling the frame in my shoulder blades, sometimes after 2 or 3 miles, especially after 5 or 6. Painful. I don't see any possibility for having installed it incorrectly but I also haven't seen any reviews that indicate others have this issue. I didn't have this issue either--prior to removing the frame--but I hadn't used it on the trail at that point so I there's no way to do a real before-after assessment. Can you guys provide any feedback? Does this sound like a common error or problem when re-placing the frame?

What bladder is the Flash 32 designed for?

I just bought the flash 20 pack. It looks awesome. My question is are there any videos showing how to attach your bow to the back of it? I am heading out for a 10 day CO bow hunt for elk next week!

Hi Eric,
Below is a link to a video review from a customer, walking you through the pack's features. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at 877.SITKA.GR, and ask for Andrew Bounds!
Thanks

I used a Flash 20 this past season in the Forest pattern and I really like it! This was the first real backpack I have owned to carry my extra gear to the woods and I have to say that I don't know why I didn't have one of these before other than I guess never having used a perfect layering system like Sitka until this year I didn't need one....I just did like everyone else that doesn't layer and dressed up completely then walked with it all on and wound up freezing to death by 8 a.m. Great pack!

Yes, the Flash 20 comes in Forest also.

Can't wait to get my hands on one. Looks and sounds like a solid pack. Will we be seeing it in the Forest Optifade as well?

The torso length is 2-2.5 inches longer on all of the packs. It is a very noticeable difference; much more comfortable!

The 2011 packs will be ready right around the first of June. We are not taking orders just yet, but we will let everyone know when they are ready!
Andrew Bounds Posted At 2/24/2011 05:52 PM
How much longer is the torso this year vs 2010 on the Flash 20 and 32?
Bob Terwilliger Posted At 2/24/2011 06:26 AM
When are we gonna see the release of the new 2011 line up including the new Flash 20?

The 20 stands for 2,000 cubic inches. This is between 32 and 33 liters.
Andrew Bounds Posted At 2/23/2011 09:27 PM
How many litres ? flash 20 = 20 litres ?
