Filtering fresh air...

Spring is a great time of year.  While I would hardly say I've been cooped up all winter; there is a real sense of vitality when the days begin to lengthen.  Its like someone hit the refresh button.

As most of the big bulls have dropped their antlers, bears are waking up, calves are dropping, and creeks are gushing; now is a great time to exercise the legs.  In my opinion; there's nothing better than a long day filtering fresh mountain-air through our lungs.

A mutual agreement.

Mark "letting his eyes do some walking".

...and letting his legs have a turn.

Last tracks for a field mouse.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I was definitely at the right place, at the right time (and happened to have my camera). I'm glad you guys dig it, and I really do appreciate your feedback. thanks again.
As P.K. said, that field mouse and bird track shot really is a once in a lifetime image. And how you kept your dog from bolting after that elk is beyond me. Awesome.
The field mouse picture is absolutley amazing. I am always astounded at the amount of information someone can gather by just looking at the ground. It's definitely a skill that is falling by the wayside. Great stuff.
That field mouse pic is almost unbelievable, just awesome thanks for sharing.
Ridiculous pic of the snow Chris!
