I’m
sitting in Norman Wells waiting to fly to British Columbia. To say the Northwest Territories Dall hunts went
well would be an understatement. I learned a lot about these sheep after 20 days
of bowhunting them.
My
new Sitka stuff was incredible. The Merino and Traverse shirts kicked it, and
three of four of my clients had the Timeberline Pants – all saying they were
the best hunting pants they'd ever worn. Two of them had the Windshirt, and both of them
called it a must-have for glassing on windy ridges.
The
coolest thing about the main camp was this: Four hunts, 15 sheep hunters, and 12 of
them were completely covered in Sitka!
