No matter who you are or what you shoot your arrows are inevitably an essesntial element to your success.....but for some their creation takes on a whole new meaning (and makes them that much more painful to break or lose).  Hopefully this years dozen, that I dubbed "The Ishi Sticks", will schloop a dandy rosie sometime in September.

A Fresh Quiver

Theres nothing like the aroma of a fresh quiver of douglas fir shafts from my home state of Oregon. Hopefully the next time one of these babies is reunited with its carnivorous rain forest home, it will be passing through the rib cage of a monster Roosevelt bull..:)

 
When reality sinks in!

Too many times you hear people referencing "reality" with a sigh and pit in their stomach. "If only....", they plead.

But sometimes, reality kicks ass! I just finished my Northwest Territories License Application for a dream come true trip.



Mark Seacat and I will be spending ten days with Arctic Red River Outfitters, living out of our packs, burning calories, and looking for Mister Big.
