All zippers are welded and watertight, which is significant, since there are a lot of them on the Cloudburst Jacket. The full front zipper makes for easy on and off in rapidly changing conditions. Two zippered hand pockets, two zippered chest pockets, and a zippered upper arm pocket cache everything you need quick access to. Pit zips open to create efficient convective cooling when it’s time to move fast. An articulated, four-panel hood fits snugly around your head and moves with you as you turn, maximizing visibility. And when the action heats up, the hood tucks into a zippered pocket on the collar to keep your ears clear and the noise down. Adjustable cuffs seal out the elements. I just got back from a Moose hunt in Newfoundland Canada. The Island was hit with the remnants of Hurricane Matthew on Sunday and Monday. They received a record breaking rainfall of over 7 inches which I hunted in both days. I hunted on top of a mountain where the wind was blowing around 40 MPH and the rain was coming at me sideways. I hunted both days hanging my Cloudburst gear to dry overnight by the wood stove. The Cloudburst rain gear was fantastic. The only issue I had was a wet spot in my crouch area where the zipper is. When I took off the gear everyone was amazed at the fact that I was still dry. I'm a Sitka fan for life. It's worth every penny.

Hey all, Bought this jacket for this hunting season 2016. I live in California and hunt the Mendocino mountains. A few weekends ago if it wasn't pouring it was slateing, and if it wasn't slateing it was a blizzard. This jacket saved me.. I keep it in my bivy 4500 rolled up. For suprise storms like this.. I can't feel it in my pack and it super light when wearing it etc. I didn't sweat or get damp and absolutely recommend this jacket

Just back from a Caribou hunt in Nunavut. Caught up in that bit of poor weather they had the 5th through the 14th, rain, sleet, snow and a fair amount of wind. I lived in my thermals, Timberline pants, Jetstream,(used it as my shirt), and my Cloudburst(jacket and pants) wind/raingear. Cloudburst raingear For some reason seemed to wet out almost immediately, not much DWR on the material. I did not take this stuff off due to the wind and weather. I adjusted my layers relative to my exertion level; 23 miles on tundra first two days. I stayed warm and dry, liked the hood adjustability, plenty of room for both pair of gloves in the hand pockets and my rangefinder in one of the chest pockets. The DRW was the only weak point. Yep-my partner and I were the only guys that filled both tags.

Wore this jacket and matching pants last night while it rained for about two hours and I was bone dry the entire time. Never had something work so well to keep me dry. The gear itself is not cheap but trust me it's worth buying because it's extremely durable and your dry when you get back to your vehicle. To me being comfortable is worth its weight in gold.

I Hunt western and northern alberta and this coats been great especially sheep hunting in the mountains. Still keeping me dry and has held up pretty well. Have t had a coat for hunting this reliable as far as keeping me dry. The coats been great year round and has been worth the price tag. The one pocket zipper broke this year while I was hiking but other than that no complaints.

What method do you use to ship your products?
A. All of our orders are shipped via FedEx. Standard Ground, 2-Day or Overnight deliveries are available. Additional charges do apply for express shipments, oversized items and/or duties & customs into Canada.
How do I track my order?
A. If you have entered a valid email address through the checkout process you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number when your shipment is processed.
How long will it take to receive my order?
A. We make every effort possible to get your order processed and shipped in a timely fashion. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of order placement. If an item on your order is backordered or out of stock, you will be contacted by a Sitka Gear customer service associate to discuss alternative options.
Why do I need to create an account to order online?

Why does my credit card show two charges?
A. Sometimes credit/debit card statements contain two transactions, but this is only a temporary scenario. When a purchase is made, an authorization is placed on your card to temporarily hold the funds on your account. This is not an actual charge on your card. Once the order has been shipped, this authorization becomes an approval and charges your account at that time. The authorization will drop off your account within 2-3 business days (depending on the financial institution).
Can I cancel my order?
A. We may be able to cancel your order but can only do this by telephone. Please call us at 877-SITKA-GR as soon as possible after you have placed your order. Otherwise it may be too late, as we try to process and get orders out the door as quickly as possible.
