This highly pack-able, Primaloft® insulated pant, protects your legs from the harsh cold of high-elevation peaks and frigid all-day treestand sits. Full side zips ventilate and make for quick on and off flexibility.
This pant is engineered to keep your lower half cozy in brutally low temperatures, and can be a crucial late-season piece in any Big Game, Whitetail, or Waterfowl System. On stationary hunts, it’s best used as a midlayer. On spot-and-stalk hunts, when you stop to eat or glass, the pant zips on over your outer layer for added warmth until you move again.
The high heat-to-weight ratio of Primaloft® Sport insulation (weight 170 g/m2) keeps your body’s core temperature up. Excellent compressibility means the pant packs down small, and articulated patterning eliminates bulk and restriction. Full side zips ventilate to prevent overheating and make for quick on and off as the conditions change.
The fine Primaloft® fibers found in the Kelvin Pant form tiny air pockets that trap body heat. Tight surface tension among the fibers resists moisture penetration, so it dries much faster than goose down. And even when wet, the Kelvin Pant is a highly effective insulator, keeping you warm and focused in critical situations.

As I stated in my review of the jacket, this product is well worth the investment. As a member of Special Operations in the United States military I put these pants through some of the environments my work has placed me in and they have performed flawlessly. These are so stinking warm!! Well done again Sitka...you constantly keep up with your reputation of having some of the best gear around.
I had been looking for a worthy cold-weather pant to replace some lesser bibs that didn't live up to my quality expectations. The Kelvin Pant seemed to fit the bill and I ordered them at full retail from Amazon, even though I have access to products as a Gore tester. I was 100% satisfied with my purchase. These super-warm, easy-on, well-made PrimaLoft pants fit nicely into my pack for the hike into my hunting spot, then I slide them on to keep off the chill as I glass and wait for old Mossyhorns to make his appearance. The side zippers help with ventilation, if needed. You will not be disappointed with these warm, quality pants.
Pure warmth. Get cold easily while sitting still in your tree for long periods of time? These pants are an insulation layer that are designed to be warn underneath one of the soft, brushed face outer layers to create a wall of heat to keep your lower half from getting cold and sending you packing it in! With an elastic cuff at the ankles and a slick synthetic face, you don't have to worry about them bunching up while pulling your pants or bibs on over them. I am a gear tester for GORE and this layer is filled with PrimaLoft insulation which is extremely lightweight and super packable so it can be brought to the stand with you and put on later.

A. We make every effort possible to get your order processed and shipped in a timely fashion. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of order placement. If an item on your order is backordered or out of stock, you will be contacted by a Sitka Gear customer service associate to discuss alternative options.

A. Sometimes credit/debit card statements contain two transactions, but this is only a temporary scenario. When a purchase is made, an authorization is placed on your card to temporarily hold the funds on your account. This is not an actual charge on your card. Once the order has been shipped, this authorization becomes an approval and charges your account at that time. The authorization will drop off your account within 2-3 business days (depending on the financial institution).
