Pretty solid back pack. I can carry all my camera gear and a hang on with no problem. I really like the design of the lid. I've always hated unzipping a backpack in the tree stand due to noise so I primarily keep the lid closed with the tassle and elastic cord. The shoulder straps are comfortable as well.

A must for any whitetail hunter! This pack has numerous pockets to keep all of your necessities separated, but still easily accessible. The inside has plenty of room for anything you may need on your hunt. Being able to carry your stand and climbing sticks on your back to leave your hands free for your bow and other necessities is a huge plus. Aside from what I've mentioned, the pack is very comfortable and can easily be used on long hauls.

It is probably just me, but I hated this pack. I have purchased tons of Sitka items over the years, and I consider this one of my worst purchases. Only behind the previous version of the Toolbox. I gave it two stars because it was quality made, and I like the camo pattern. That is where it ends for me. Maybe if I were a tree stand hunter all the time, I may have a different opinion. Even if I were, the whole process of carrying a stand on this appeared to cumbersome. Although it was not perfect, the old Flash 20 fit my hunting style much better than this. I disliked this pack so much, I sold it after eight hunts and started using the Sitka Alpine ruck.

a 4 star rating does not even begin to describe how happy I am with this pack. This pack allows me to strap my stand, climbing sticks and my bow for the long trips into the thickest cover by allowing me to keep both hands free where normally I would be carrying my bow and my climbing sticks. Once in the stand, the pack is exactly what I needed for the all day sits. After seeing how easy this is to setup, 2 of my hunting partners also purchased them and are equally as happy as I am. Just one more great innovation from Sitka.

A. Yes, we have gear experts available from the hours of 8:00am MST to 5:00pm MST that are able to answer any of your technical questions as well as process and place orders.  During hunting season and other times of the year in which we experience high call volumes please do not be discouraged to leave us a voice message.  We will return your call ASAP. 

How do I know what Sitka Gear I need for my hunt?

What is Sitka Gear’s Warranty Policy?

A. We stand behind every product we make.  If you are unhappy with any of our products at the time your receive them, feel free to send them back.  Damage due to wear and tear will be repaired at a reasonable cost.  For more details, visit our Repairs and Warranties page.

How can I determine which size will fit me best?

How do I know if a specific Sitka Gear pack is the right size for me?

A. Appropriate pack sizing and fit is determined by a specific measurement of your torso length.  For more information please visit our pack sizing chart or call one of our gear experts at 877-SITKA-GR.

Can I return my purchase for a refund for exchange?

A. Yes you can.  If it is within 60 days of the original purchase date and you would like to return your product for an exchange or refund, please visit and follow the prompts to receive and RA#.  Note, that products must be unused with hangtags still affixed and must have been purchased direct from Sitka Gear.  If your item was purchased from one of our Authorized Dealers, please contact them in regards to their individual return policy.

If an item is not in stock or in my local store where can I purchase it?

Can I place a backorder on

A. Unfortunately, we do not accept back orders at this time.  If there’s a specific product you would like to find and it’s not available on our site, please call or email our gear experts at 877-SITKA-GR or  We would be glad to help you locate the product from an authorized retailer.

What method do you use to ship your products?

A. All of our orders are shipped via FedEx.  Standard Ground, 2-Day or Overnight deliveries are available.  Additional charges do apply for express shipments, oversized items and/or duties & customs into Canada.

How do I track my order?

A. If you have entered a valid email address through the checkout process you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number when your shipment is processed. 

How long will it take to receive my order?

A. We make every effort possible to get your order processed and shipped in a timely fashion.  Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of order placement.  If an item on your order is backordered or out of stock, you will be contacted by a Sitka Gear customer service associate to discuss alternative options.

Why do I need to create an account to order online?

A. Creating an account with us helps speed up the ordering process for you and allows you to keep track of your order history, as well as manage your profile information online.

Why does my credit card show two charges?

A. Sometimes credit/debit card statements contain two transactions, but this is only a temporary scenario.  When a purchase is made, an authorization is placed on your card to temporarily hold the funds on your account.  This is not an actual charge on your card.  Once the order has been shipped, this authorization becomes an approval and charges your account at that time.  The authorization will drop off your account within 2-3 business days (depending on the financial institution).

Can I cancel my order?

A. We may be able to cancel your order but can only do this by telephone.  Please call us at 877-SITKA-GR as soon as possible after you have placed your order.  Otherwise it may be too late, as we try to process and get orders out the door as quickly as possible.

How do I measure my torso length to properly fit my pack?
