Jacket-like Design

Contoured shoulders and hood as well as zippered armholes provide functional wearability.

Integrated Stowed Hook

A stowed hook at bottom of bag connects footbox to midlength interior loop which shortens the bag for walking around camp.

Reliable Insulation

Lightweight, synthetic insulation maintains warmth even when wet. Durable water repellent finish prevents face fabric from wetting out.

We took experience and insights designing clothing systems and applied that knowledge to the sleeping bag, turning something you typically use just for sleep into a multifunctional tool for backcountry use.

HOW IT WORKS

Taking cues from one of nature’s most effective insulators — trapped air — we saw an opportunity to make synthetic insulation lighter and warmer while keeping its warm-when-wet properties.

 

MADE OF 95% TRAPPED AIR, AEROGEL REDUCES WEIGHT

Aerogel, a material originally developed by NASA for use in aerospace applications, is composed of more than 95% air and is the lightest solid material known to humankind.

Tiny particles of infused aerogel form a temperature barrier to block out cold while the synthetic insulation traps air to keep you warm.

Aerogel is the world’s lowest density solid and most effective thermal insulator.

 

AEROGEL-INFUSED PRIMALOFT FIBERS TRAP AIR

Synthetic PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation fibers are infused with tiny particles of aerogel that form a temperature barrier to block cold while the fibers trap air to keep you warm.

Made from 35% percent recycled material.
 

 

STAYS WARM, EVEN
WHEN WET OR COMPRESSED

Like down, it’s highly compressible.

Unlike down insulation, it retains much of its insulating ability when compressed, and maintains its loft, even after years of packing.

Synthetic PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation with Cross Core™ technology replicates the warmth and compressibility of down...

But with the benefit of warm-when-wet performance.

 

30-DEGREE COMFORT RATING

This bag is designed to be an extension of your SITKA clothing system for full-season performance. As temperatures dip below freezing, stack additional layers under your bag to extend the comfort rating.
