Bend your elbow and put your hand on your hip. Measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the shoulder and down the elbow to the wrist bone.
Take measurement under armpits, around fullest part of chest and shoulder blades.
Measure around where you normally wear your pants, keeping the tape measure a bit loose or putting one finger between your body and the tape measure.
In a standing position, measure from your crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back.
With hand partially closed, measure over the knuckles, around the hand, excluding the thumb.

I already want another pair and I just got these this year. They probably won't come off during all of archery season since you can do anything with them that you could with bare hands (trigger pull, use phone, pick your noise..etc). When it comes time to glass and sit in the cold for an extended period they will fit easily inside anything with more insulation. They fit just fine under the same size of the cheaper traverse glove. I have been wearing mechanix as my utility gloves for the past 3 years and they just get wet/cold/useless after a day. Very pleased.
Really nice lightweight gloves. I use them mostly for cool mornings when I'm carrying a shotgun, bow, or spotting scope. They create just enough of a barrier between the hands and any heat-robbing gear you may be carrying. I would rather have these in a solid color since they clash with just about all of my hunting gear, but performance-wise they are excellent.
The perfect early season, warm weather glove. I have worn this everyday in the heat, up into the high 90’s, and could not be happier. It’s great to have camouflage everywhere, but more importantly, sun and other hand protection(climbing over rocks, trees, etc). Super easy to use smartphone for OnX and other apps. Might be pricey, but protection for yours hands on hot days is imperative.
This glove literally fits me like a glove. They fit like second skin: I can shoot my bow accurately with them on, they protect me from the sun and terrain and they breathe well. Most of my hunting is during warm to hot weather and I'm never in the field without the Ascent Gloves.
Excellent hot weather gloves. Wish I had these when I was in Iraq. Work Beth well at shielding hands from sun and keeping sweat away from palms and fingers while hunting. Also, unlike some of the hanger gloves I had, these are easier to put on. Don’t have to fight with them taking them off or putting them on.
Sitka Gear Subalpine Ascent Gloves, Perfect in every way.
I wore these for 12 days on a spot and stalk late archery elk hunt in Arizona. The terrain encountered was extremely rocky, steep, and covered with thorny vegetation. These gloves survived unscathed, as did my hands (with the exception of one tiny embedded thorn). The fit is excellent and the gloves are simple to put on/take off. Dexterity (including shooting my bow) is as good as it gets. The material in the thumb/finger for use with a phone/GPS worked perfectly and is essential nowadays. Also essential is the Polygiene odor control. As someone who sweats a lot when working hard, I can attest to its effectiveness and would ask that Sitka expand its use elsewhere in the product line. These seemed like a bit of an extravagant purchase at first but after using them I now would not go on a warm weather hunt without these gloves.
I really like these gloves... They fit extremely well. The only reason I didn't give them 4 stars is because I feel having the ascent line name they could have been a tad bit lighter material, had more breath ability, or perhaps most relevant/feasible, been fingertipless at least in the thumb and pointer like some of the other Sitka gloves. Don't get me wrong though, they are honestly probably still the lightest gloves I own that are made to be durable.

Now this does come down to how my weird hands fit in the gloves, but I feel like they are too long in the fingers and not wide enough everywhere else. It is quite difficult to get them on, so having more elasticity in the wrist portion would be nice. However, overall they do feel decent when I get them on and still allow for a good amount of feeling while also feeling protected. I do recommend these gloves.
Went by the sizing chart and ordered a Large (most other gloves I own are medium). Received them and couldn't get them on my hand. Ordered the XL and still a little tight to get on ( I don't have a huge hand) but once they are on they seem to work OK. Haven't had them in the field but have been practiced shooting my bow and feel they will work. Exchange was very quick and painless.
Best glove for shooting a bow I have found. Fits great. Some might feel they are too slippery, I say don't change a thing. Not being tacky propably lessens hand torque. And makes it easier To use hinge. I never shoot a bow with out gloves and these give just the right amount of cushion and still feel for the Release. More colors would be nice and I Will buy more. Thanks. ??
Just as advertised. Best lightweight glove I’ve ever owned, and it works flawlessly on a touch screen.
