I hunted with the Ascent set this September for my Once In a Lifetime Draw ND Elk. It was in the badlands of ND near TR National Park. Weather was hot, in the 80s and 90s during the day. This shirt held up very well. Carrying my pack and rifle, in that heat, I was drenched in sweat. However when I would stop to glass an area, within a half hour, the shirt was virtually dry again. I wore the same shirt for 5 days, by itself during day, and with a layer over in morning and nights, and in very rocky terrain. At night I would hang it on a branch outside my tent. Not only did it hold up to the abuse, it barely had any scent when I would put it back on in the morning. When I harvested my elk, I naturally covered it in blood, and washed it a few days later. All the blood washed out. Excellent early season or hot weather gear. As good as or better than any other hot weather hunting shirt I’ve had.

Bought this shirt for hunting here in SoCal. The fit is athletic, but I still fit my normal size. Moisture wicking and fast drying. Helped keep me cool when temperatures spiked to above 80 degrees. Highly recommended.

Very lightweight shirt but I didn't find it to be all that comfortable or functional compared to other lightweight shirts in the product line. I prefer the core lightweight shirts over this. I do like the fit through the arms, it's more form fitting which is nice when you're drawing a bow. Built with warmer climates in mind for archery season. It is performance fit, so you may need to size up if you're a tweener size, but I used as a baselayer or standalone layer so the tighter fit didn't bother me.

What method do you use to ship your products?
A. All of our orders are shipped via FedEx. Standard Ground, 2-Day or Overnight deliveries are available. Additional charges do apply for express shipments, oversized items and/or duties & customs into Canada.
How do I track my order?
A. If you have entered a valid email address through the checkout process you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number when your shipment is processed.
How long will it take to receive my order?
A. We make every effort possible to get your order processed and shipped in a timely fashion. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of order placement. If an item on your order is backordered or out of stock, you will be contacted by a Sitka Gear customer service associate to discuss alternative options.
Why do I need to create an account to order online?
A. Creating an account with us helps speed up the ordering process for you and allows you to keep track of your order history, as well as manage your profile information online.
Why does my credit card show two charges?
A. Sometimes credit/debit card statements contain two transactions, but this is only a temporary scenario. When a purchase is made, an authorization is placed on your card to temporarily hold the funds on your account. This is not an actual charge on your card. Once the order has been shipped, this authorization becomes an approval and charges your account at that time. The authorization will drop off your account within 2-3 business days (depending on the financial institution).
Can I cancel my order?
A. We may be able to cancel your order but can only do this by telephone. Please call us at 877-SITKA-GR as soon as possible after you have placed your order. Otherwise it may be too late, as we try to process and get orders out the door as quickly as possible.
