Why We Made This
Hunters are in need of a foundational next-to-skin piece that can span temperature variations throughout the seasons in order to regulate heat and sweat. Our approach was to build a base layer that, when worn, feels like you were hunting with nothing on. We used durable polyester bi-component construction with Polygiene® Odor Control Technology to deliver breathability, moisture management, and odor control. This crew can be worn as a standalone outerwear piece or layered into a system for all-season hunting.

This is a great base layer. It fits well, wick moisture and controls odours very well. I am however disappointed in its durability. After only one day of trekking through brush, it has many threads that have been pulled which caused the fabric to pucker slightly. Given this is designed for hunters and is a premium brand, I expected it to be much more durable.
Absolutely nothing to complain about! This is the best shirt for Arizona archery season. I would give it more stars if I could. There are five of us in the hunting group and we all love them.
Best synthetic base layer I have worn. I have tried other "poly blend" base layers and they aways end up smelling like a stale locker room after a few days in the field. This base layer can be worn for multiple days without feeling like I am going to blow anything downwind out of the unit
This is a must have for hunting out west during archery season. Breathability and comfort is key for warmer temps.
I wear this shirt for early season and as a layering piece next to skin. Its super comfortable and a great early season shirt. The hand loops make it very easy for layering other pieces.
Fits great and is lightweight and breathable. Works well as a layer or a stand alone piece.
I cannot get enough of these!!!
Have this base for over a year and I’ll tell you, it’s my goto piece. From spring turkeys and bear, to early fall elk into winter whitetail, I have this thing on all the time.
Fit is perfect. I’m 6’ 205# and wear a Large.
I’m going to pick up a couple more to have in different patterns.
I am impressed. The fit is excellent. Not too tight, not too lose. True to size. Thumb loops are excellent, not too big or in the way.
Fit is great per the Sitka size chart. Fit is snug as a long underwear base layer should be but not overly snug. This product seems more durable than similar products on the market and I believe posses the scent control qualities it claims. I have worn as a base under other clothes and as a stand alone piece and found it to be acceptable for both. Good moisture wicking capability you want out of a base layer. I would definitely recommend.
Excellent early season base layer. Perfect standalone 60+ degrees, wear a hoodie overtop if you get cold. Only complaint is when wearing alone, these things fray easily on any snags. Love this shirt overall for early season whitetails and will wear during spring turkey.
This is the most versatile base layer for any system. This core light top pulls moisture from your skin and wicks it away very fast. This keeps you from feeling wet underneath all your gear and regulate your temperature well. Anytime I know I will be exerting a lot of energy or I will be near water, I wear this base layer because I know if I sweat or get soaked while setting decoys I will be dry Within a few minutes.
I finally broke down and went all in on the system, and I couldn't be more pleased. Except the price tag. But I have both the short and long sleeve t shirts and they are a must for your 1st layer. The sweat in the heat, or from layering up is quickly taken away. This shirt drives in almost seconds.
This is a must have item along with the lightweight base layer pants. After a week long early season elk-hunt, my shirt and pants barely even had a stench. It dries super quick and definitely controls odor!
This is a sweet comfortable base layer. It feels nice and soft and the fit is perfect. I'm 206lbs & 5' 10.5" and the XL is perfect. This shirt will be awesome in the heat for the the early season, and a great base to start the layer system. A++.

A Tale of Two Roars
Rustic wooden gates groaned open as our Toyota HiLux rumbled through. We navigated the rutted, winding dirt road; every pothole and washboard negotiated revealing another layer of the towering Andes Mountains. A gin-clear river meandered through the valley floor. Willows on the cusp of fall color shimmered in the cool afternoon breeze. This was the start of the annual breeding season for red deer in northern Patagonia—also known as the roar.

Good material. Bought a Large. 6ft, 200lbs and I thought it ran small.
Guess I didn't have the luck the other reviewers had. I had one in a size medium and I am 5'9, 160lbs. It was a good fit. After only wearing it one time, the stitching under the right arm became loose and a hole started. Second time wearing it just made it worse. It was too uncomfortable to wear and an obvious defect in the stitching. I have no idea where these are made but was not happy. Can only give 2 stars and shouldn't give any.
I purchased this shirt and the core lightweight hoody today from a local store and I love the hoody. It fits great and this LS shirt also seems great. The only complaint I have about it is the fit around the chest is a little tighter than the hoody. I honestly think in the future I will just purchase the hoody over this shirt as it is not much more and the fit is superior and comes with hood and built in mask.
The lightweight long sleeve worked great for an unexpectedly warm WY pronghorn hunt. Was perfect when paired with the Jet Stream jacket for the 40's & 50's in the morning and wore just the lightweight the rest of the day with 70's & 80's. Any wind had a noticeable cooling feeling. Highly recommend for anything during warm hunts.
