Wore this t-shirt underneath the Elevated 2 hoodie for a fall black bear hunt in Maine the temperatures were 70s-80 degrees. The T doubled as a layer to keep the mosquitoes from eating me alive also I believe it help keep my scent sweat at bey. The 252lb bear I killed came directly down wind of me and had no idea I was there until the shot.

I have long sleeve core lightweight and it works great. This year bought subalpine pattern in preparation for Sep Elk hunt. The short sleeve is the coolest, fastest wicking athletic shirt I have ever worn (including my workout clothes).

I have 2 of these that I wear everyday here in Three Rivers Ca. It has been a hot summer and I work out side part of the day, I can wear one for 3 to 4 days before I wash it. Still no odor. I stay cooler in this shirt than with out a shirt on. I am also a Sitka Dealer, Look me up on the web. I am happy to help

Really a great pattern but unfortunately once again Sitka has a tremendous problem with sizing. Big heads up, if you want a XL fit order the 3X! Seriously way undersized.

This shirt is perfect for hunting in California where 100+ temps are common in the early season. I'm a big fan of the new Sub Alpine pattern out here in this dry climate. As mentioned in previous reviews this piece runs a little smaller than the others in this line. I'm a fit 6'1, 220 purchased an XL and its tight around the chest and arms but mid-section/length are perfect. This makes it easier to add layers on over this shirt but if I knew I was only wearing this I would go with the XXL. The XL long sleeve version of this shirt fits perfect. The material is also comfortable on the skin and doesn't stick to you on hot days.

One of my favorite shirts to wear....so light and comfortable it's like wearing nothing at all. Runs just a tad on the small size due to its a performance fit so size up one if on the edge.

Great piece that can be worn by itself for preseason scouting or early season hunts then for a base into the mid season. Nice athletic cut and form fitting

I just got this product not to long ago but i am already impressed by it. It would be perfect for early season hunts when it is warm out and it is also very good for a great next to skin layer for mid to late hunts. It is a great moisture wicking shirt. It is an excellent foundation for any system. I cant wait to use it next whitetail season. Well worth it!

I honestly don't agree with the last review (3Aug). Pricing is consistent with quality of product. Layer is form fitting, I am no small man and I love this base layer for the earliest of season and mid day up to Nov. My arms are over 18" at the biceps and it fits well, very similar to the athletic shirts from exercise clothing companies. This is just another great piece of Sitka gear to have in your arsenal.

Slightly overpriced compared to competitors equal products. The arm circumference is small and wont fit if you have bigger arms.

Knocking on Doors

Gaining access to private land can be an intimidating hurdle for most hunters, but it doesn’t have to be. In fact, knowing how to ask permission can be a hunter’s secret weapon, especially when it comes to accessing public land drainages only reachable via private land or, even, opening up a door to private land access for years to come.
