Take measurement under armpits, around fullest part of chest and shoulder blades.
Measure around where you normally wear your pants, keeping the tape measure a bit loose or putting one finger between your body and the tape measure.
In a standing position, measure from your crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back.
With hand partially closed, measure over the knuckles, around the hand, excluding the thumb.

I’m 6’3” 225lbs and the xl fits well. It’s a little big around the mid section but buttons on the bottom/ sides tighten it nicely. I have had some insulation come out after wearing it a few times. Hoping that the insulation doesn’t become a major issue because I like the jacket.
Great coat but I am currently working on returning it due to insulation/fuzz constantly coming out. Each time I wear it, it gets worse. Such a nice coat, its a shame it looks like it's covered in snow from the insulation coming out.
Love the jacket but the Insulations bleeds out at a horrible pace. The Face fabric is to loosely woven
It would be a 5 star jacket if it could keep the insulation in.
This is my first Sitka purchase and I love the coat. Plenty of pockets, perfect fit, and I’ve had none of the fuzz problems others reported. Wasn’t sure about the color (storm) when I ordered it but love that too; I’ve had several compliments on it.
Jacket its really great! I do love it BUT it looses insulation very badly as some of the other reviews mention. There is constant fuzz coming out of it. Sadly I have e-mailed Sitka about it and have yet to get a response. It seems like the exterior fabric is woven to loose and small stings of insulation work their way out. Then when any friction is applied (like arm movement) it pulls the entire piece of insulation out. I have tired to use a tape roller to clean it up which works until you wear it then you are covered in insulation again.
A great coat for chores or the bar. Reviews said it runs big, but that is not the case. I would maybe even buy a size larger. The pocket alignment is great, and the coat seems durable without being too stiff like an unbroken-in Carhart. The only downside is the fuzz that builds up in the friction areas. I have to pick off pilly-white fuzz off the underarms once a week. Not sure what is causing this.
Great coat I really like all the pockets.
I wanted to love this coat (color blue), but each time I wore it, tiny white fuzz pilings would appear on the sleeves and randomly all over the coat, particularly in places where there was any friction (under the arms, mainly). I thought the fuzz would relent as I broke in the coat, but no such luck. It's a great coat and while I love the fit (L for me) I had to return it after having to perform anti-fuzz maintenance each time I put it on. Did I get a lemon of a coat? I didn't see any other comments like mine.
Looks and fit are 10/10 on this one. Buttons could be better. Needs an additional internal pocket. Insulation continuously escapes through woven outer layer (especially under arms). Canvas material is rugged and meets standard. Needs a collar hangar. Waist and wrist adjustments could use a 2nd and 3rd button. This one is a winner other than the insulation issue.
I love this coat for everyday use. It's very comfortable and good looking. Storm is a different color and I really like it. I'm 6' 1", 165 pounds and the Large fits perfectly. I usually wear large tops from Sitka.
Very nice jacket. Runs big in my opinion. I am a large in the berber jacket but a medium in this jacket. The large was big.
Great coat, but…. The buttons are absolutely worthless, like a soft breath will pop them loose. Sitka, please fix these buttons. I like the rest of the coat so much, I’m trying to figure out how to replace these buttons with something that actually works.
Fits so well just like other Sitka products. Not baggy in arms or torso and still has enough room for layering. Was thicker than I expected but that’s not a bad thing, the outside material is much like carhartt only better and definitely feels durable. Side hand pockets are perfectly placed and angle too. Just a really all around comfortable jacket to wear.
The jacket itself looks like its everything the description mentioned. I have a lot of Sitka gear already, and this is the only jacket the appears to run one size too large. I'm 6'0 240 pounds and wear an XL in the Fanatic jacket, the Jetstream, and the Stratus. The XL for this jacket felt like a typical XXL, exchanging for a Large. Hopefully it fits a little better!
Just arrived in the mail. I will adjust review if needed. Seems to be another quality Sitka product. Very light, but seems very durable. I'm 6"1 225 and the XL fits me perfectly.
Nice jacket, I really like the fit and look of it but like others stated. The insulation just keeps coming out of it and the jacket is covered in little white fuzz balls every where. I haven't even had the jacket that long. Shame to pay the price for what is happening to it.
I like the coat and the fit, but like a lot of the other reviews on it, I am having problems with the lining coming out as little fuzzballs.
Jacket fits true, but the insulation fuzz is a huge problem. For the price this should never happen. I would love to write a positive review if customer service makes this right.
I would love the coat but the lining bleeds through the canvas outer shell. I am going to contact Sitka about a return. This is a major problem.
