The solution to late season archery I've been looking for!

Warmer than any of my lightweight or frigid weather gloves and managing my release and wrist strap for archery is no longer an issue. I've had them in sub zero temps with wind and high humidity and they still keep my hands warm. I was concerned they might be in the way, hanging on my waist, however, I don't even realize they're there. It's a winner.

Warmer pockets are hard to find but they are in there, keeps your hands so warm you don't even need gloves!

This can't be beat for warmth. I had a problem with the strap not being long enough to go around me. I am a rather large fellow but ran out of adjustment and could not wear normally. I would like a longer strap or a way of extending the strap. I had a problem with the left cuff elastic giving way on my first hunt with the muff and have contacted Sitka and am waiting on their answer as to replacement or refund? I hope they will work with me on this problem.

Excellent quality. Now I don't even bring gloves out with me.

If you always have cold hands just buy this. I normally wear no gloves or fingerless gloves for bow or rifle hunts. Going into my second season with this and it made all the difference in the world. I haven’t even needed to use hand warmers in it. You won’t regret this purchase if you frequently have cold hands in the stand or blind.

Not to beat a dead horse...but this is arguably one of the most important gear pieces I now take on any fall/winter hunt...Been using it for 2+years now for both Kansas whitetail hunting in cold, windy conditions in the well as Elk hunting in CO. I have bony hands that never stay warm and big gloves + bowhunting doesn't mix, obviously. This was the answer. I can wear the thin Ascent or fanatic gloves and get by all day, regardless of the temp, thanks to this hand muff.

As several have already mentioned, you can definitely get a large smartphone, handwarmer(s) and calls in this between the primary pocket and zipper pocket. I'll oftentimes put snacks in the zipper pouch that are tough to eat cold...i.e. jerky, candy, etc...also a great place for your release if you prefer it not be ice cold when that shot opportunity comes.

Doesn't claim to be waterproof, but I've not had any issues in rain or even steady snowfall while in the field. Does everyone need this? No, but out of allll the Sitka gear I have....this ranks up towards the top in 'priority' for me personally to make all-day sits in Nov/Dec bearable. If your wife or kids hunt or spends time in the woods with ya, this and the Neck Gaiter are gamechangers to keep them happy and comfy.

I stand hunt in the Midwest and used this throughout my 2019 season. Temps weren't crazy cold, but without question this is the best hand muff I've ever owned. They're worth every penny. I only wore Merino wool liner gloves because anything else was unnecessary. The hot hand insert sleeves are a great idea. Develop a boot cover using this technology please.

This muff is the one piece of equipment that I will never leave behind. The convenience of this muff combines the efficiency of a fanny pack and the warmth of a heavy weight mitten. It is big enough to contain my cell phone and wallet in the front zipper pocket, my grunt call/range finder/hot hands in the interior pocket, and warm enough to not need to wear any gloves until late into the Northern Illinois season.

I spent years looking for a high quality muff, and wouldn't even consider switching after having this one. Most of the muffs on the market aren't nearly warm enough, I finally found a Cabela's one that was but the waist strap broke off numerous times due to poor stitching. I bought the Sitka muff 6 years ago and haven't looked back. It has held up great after hundreds of days hunting and the waist strap is incredibly well built, not to mention camo as well which is just a nice touch (wish the new waterfowl one was the same way). Looks others have said it works perfectly with thin gloves, and also doubles nicely as a spot for a grunt tube, windchecker, rangefinder, etc. This is probably one of the best products Sitka makes for stand hunters.

Put this muff through the ringer on two hunts. One all day at about 5 degrees. Worked great with a hand warmer. I could have done without the handwarmer had I not had my hands out of it a long, hanging a stand! The other day started at about 37 and rainy and dropped to about 28 degrees. While the rain was heavy enough to get it wet, it stayed plenty warm- again with the warmer. Best part is that there's enough room inside that you can keep a call or something in the mitt portion. Plus the zippered pocket was big enough to keep my flashlight, my rangefinder, AND my compact binos all at once. It is so good at storage that I actually think I'll wear it in warmer weather just for that purpose. Very comfortable.

I'm just a regular guy, not a GORE tester or anything. This is probably the most useful piece of gear that I own for the cold weather. It just straps onto your body like a belt and gives you that "hoody" feel or your hands. There are internal pockets that hold hand warmers nicely and I use them in temps below 20F. Otherwise I use the "skimpy" Fanatic Gloves to maintain finger dexterity and keep my hands in this muff and it works wonderfully. My hands stay warm as if I was sitting on the couch at home. I hope Sitka will make these in the Waterfowl patterns because I could really see a use for it in both whitetail and waterfowl seasons. I can not say enough good things about this product. Great job Sitka.

This piece came in handy for keeping my hands out of the rain and warm. Can see this being very useful for those cold November deer hunts.

Great durable, warm hand muff. I use this a lot in colder weather. I owned the older camo version as well. My only complaint is they are a big bulky.
