I love this hat, great for hunting and everything else you might do outdoors.
Windproof and wonderful. Its a little loose on my head but not bad. I got a small nugget so another size option would make it better.
Had one a year or so or go and lost it moose hunting. just got another. Extremely pleased with it. Wear it all the time mid fall through spring. Wear it over merino beanie in extreme cold. Love it.
This is a must have for anyone wanting a beanie that is warm but not too warm and 100% windproff. I use this beanie duck hunting when I run my boat and it keeps the wind out and warm even on those 10 degree mornings.
My go to beanie for spring and and late fall hunting. Very comfortable and fits perfectly alone or over a ball cap.
Keeps my head toasty from wind and temperatures in the 20s while spending hours glassing the tundra or at 6000 ft.
Made well, but no use if it won't fit my 7 1/2" head. If they made a larger size, I'd be all over it!
I have the old Jetstream beanie and the new one is a huge improvement. The back of the beanie is much longer and actually covers all my ears and part of the back of my neck. The material is very soft and quite, it sheds water very well. I personally pair this with the merino beanie and it gets me through the whole season. Again another great product from Sitka.
I really like this beanie! It definitely blocks the wind out and is very effective! Use it for predator hunting/calling for long sits and long hikes. Keeps the rain out very good. Can sit in the rain and it doesn't get soaked. My only complaint is I wish it was a little longer. I recommend it and is very well designed.
Recently bought the Jetstream Beanie after having trouble finding a good piece of headgear that covered a wide range of hunting conditions. This keeps my head dry in light rains and warm in high mountain winds. Haven't tested in the snow yet, but expect good things.
I love my Beanie. The design is impeccable. It's extremely light and offers maximum warmth. This product is well worth the price. I've used it in both light rain and snow.
hands down the best hat ive owned. Live in alaska and mainly hunt moose and brown bear. We have horses and usually take them to go hunting. Last moose hunting season we spent all day out in the rain and fog to get a monster 67" bull of a lifetime. Left camp at 7 am and spent all day out there and my sitka gear kept me warm and comfortable and the hat has always been exemptional i always wear it in the winter time as well. Shot the bull at around 630 pm and got back into camp around 830 pm and the rain finally stopped.

I'm the guy that can't stand my head in covered or my ears getting cold. This beanie is awesome. Wore it in the snow this year under my rain gear and kept me warm and dry all day. Highly recommend.
I have a large head, this fits very well. For some reason the other Sitka beanies including the Dakota, the Merino, and others are too small. I have used this for hunting and also for every day use it is perfect from 35° Up to 55
It is soft on the inside, durable, and a well made piece of gear.
On a weird sidenote, the open country pattern fits my head great. For some reason the sub Alpine seems to be just a touch smaller and it’s tight on my head. I went to three different stores and tried on multiple beanies in both camos and found this to be true across-the-board
I love my beanie. The fit and the fabric are great. Quite warm. I use it from October to mid-November (moose and whitetail hunting).
My head circumference is 22 inches (56 cm).
Brilliant Beanie! Everything from a slight chill in the morning air all the way to Northwest Territories in February, this beanie has you covered! Also a fantastic fit, which was a nice surprise considering the size of my melon! (its large)
