These bibs are the real deal! Very comfortable and extremely durable. 100% worth the money, they will keep you warm in the cold and dry in the more wet conditions. Hunted a lot of snows and blues last season and as most of us know snow goose hunting can get messy! The bibs held up better then I could've imaged.

These pants are outstanding, albeit I do not use the for waterfowl hunting. I bought these pants to keep warm on long winter predator stands. The reinforced shins and rear-end can easily take the abuse of long hikes busting brush. The butt-pad is great for uncomfortable ground cover and along with the Primaloft insulation provides the perfect barrier between me and the snow. I just can over emphasize how durable these pants are, this is my second season using them and they are like new!

They aren't the quietest pants but they are three layers of Gore-tex, I wouldn't expect them to be. I care more about the fact I can sit in waist deep snow and stay warm and bone dry.

I went back and forth between these and the Hudson bibs for a few weeks. I finally decided on these and couldn't be happier with them! I will say that these are insulated very well, and if you are doing a lot of moving around you will be hot. I did a pheasant hunt in 40 degree weather and was smoking after about an hour of moving around. That said, if you are planning to be in a goose blind or something along those lines, you will love how warm they are. Bonus for including knee pads - those work great. They keep me warm and dry, and the zipper easily fits over both of my muck boots. They do have suspenders, I didn't realize that until I got them in - and they go up to about mid belly on me. They are also absolutely bomb proof. The material is thick and tough, and has stood up really well for me going through some nasty stuff.

These Pants are AWESOME!! they are very comfortable with a great range of movement. the outer fabric is very tough and there is not enough wind in the world to cut through these bad boys. i paired these with Sitka heavyweight bottoms and Sitka Gradient pants with no problem with 30mph winds in 20 degrees. matter of fact i was sweating a little bit. worth the money.

Layout bib is bomb proof. The reinforcement of lower leg and buttock region is crucial for layout blinds, ice, hard frozen ground. Layered with gradient pant and maybe even core heavyweight bottoms you could hunt the North Pole. The side zips to dump heat and ease of putting on pants with boots on are also awesome. Pockets in front are perfect for ammo and essentials.

I have XL and is somewhat big, but I went with a bit bigger because I layered underneath with gradient pant and core heavyweight. The large would be a tad bit to tight and I don’t want tight. (Not a fashion show) Also the bib is somewhat long for me (I am 30-31 inseam) but with wearing boots it’s no big deal.

Bought the pants to match the Layout jacket I already own and they are great in terms of functional design. Only thing to keep in mind is that the waterfowl gear seems to fit larger than the big game gear (i.e. cloudburst line etc). I had to return the pants from a large tall for a medium tall (in the big game line the large tall fits sufficiently on its own and allows layering) as the waterfowl gear was simply too big. Overall great product!!

The best waterfowl pant/bib I've ever worn, especially if hunting layout blinds in the winter. The first time I wore these (along with the Layout Jacket) we hunted water and laid out on a frozen lake shore. The temps were in the single digit with a -20 windchill and it was blowing snow. Due to not having much cover we used our blind bags for back rests and laid directly on the ground. Half way through the hunt some of our group had punted and returned to the pickups. I was dry and warm for the duration. Did have one leg zipper blow out. A call to Customer Service and a new pair were on the way. When you marry Sitka's quality with their customer service you have an unbeatable product.

By far the best bib my team and I have ever worn. We hunt 60-90 days a year and the layout bib has performed flawlessly in any situation we put it through.

I really, really like certain aspects of these pants. The reinforced knees/cuffs/butt are outstanding. I wasn't sure I would like the kneepads, and know find them awesome when brushing blinds, tweaking decoys, etc. The insulated/padded seat is also terrific,. With that said, I purchased these as a potential replacement for some bibs, and found myself really missing the front of the bibs I have grown accustomed to. I could never get used to the lack of coverage from the chest to roughly the waist. Also, it seems the cut of this garment constantly interfered with my upper body layers, creating an uncomfortable bunching of material about at the navel. Soo, great product if it is truly pants you desire while hunting, but I can't recommend as a bib substitute/replacement. I would love to see the features of the layout pant incorporated into future bib designs, that would be a real walk off home run in my opinion. Also, I do not understand what the purpose the belt loops serve on this piece, folks that wear suspenders and belts always make me nervous!
