Can't believe how lightweight these are! I literally thought the package was empty when they arrived.

This is surprisingly my favorite and most utilized piece of Sitka gear. I use these merino lightweight bottoms as an insulating layer while duck hunting, big game hunting, early season turkey hunting, and even sleeping. These provide excellent temperature control for cold and warm weather and definitely stay odor free.
Ultra-light, amazing warming and cooling properties, unresticting and incredible odor control. These are always on the packing list for my hunts. While I tend not to wear the bottoms in higher temp early season elk hunts, they quickly replace my Sitka merino boxers as a base layer for the late season hunts in the rain and snow.
Unmatched weight to warmth ratio, wore weekend trip drizzling rain mid 30s slight wind and stayed warm and dry. My first merino product and won't be my last.
Great product!! I was skeptical of all the hype about merino wool... but it is all true. These were extremely lightweight, but did a great job with maintaining body temperatures. Used during September early archery elk hunt. Did 6 days strait of hunting/hiking. Temperatures ranged from 30-70 and we hiked anywhere from 10-20 miles daily with about 3k elevation changes. I was never uncomfortable, wore either the ascent pant or the apex pant with it depending on how the temperatures were looking. Even more impressive to me was that the base layers really did not smell at all. Im sold on it, will highly recommend to everyone. I hope Sitka will continue to produce more merino wool products, such as a t-shirt and more mid layers.
