Don't know how else to say this but these things are crap. I weigh 135 5'8" and I do get cold easily but these gloves will not keep you dry or warm unless you're in 45 plus degree weather which means you don't even need gloves or can go with some light ones. I have the traverse glovs and they are amazing. I have no idea what engineer decided this was to leave the testing lab. Just ordered some Drake gloves and I know it's summer but they seem beastly warm. I actually threw these away before I even ordered Drake gloves.

I was greatly let down by these gloves. They get wet easily and don't repel water or snow at all. Once wet, they were useless. I've had a much better experience with the thin gloves, hands warmer, and pouch. For the same cost, you can buy 3 pairs of lightweight gloves and swap between them to stay dry.

These gloves are great. They shed water in cold and above freezing conditions. Super warm and once broken in are easy to use with your shotgun. The issue I had was when I used them for 1 season hard the leather finger tips ended up wearing out to the point where the internals were showing. So Durability wise they aren’t that good if they couldn’t hold up to 1 good season.

The initial fit of these gloves are nice and in light rain/snow they do fine. Anything more than that and they see to wet out.

The second issue I have with them is after they dry out the finger tips are hard as a rock and make it difficult to shoot.

Was not very happy with these gloves. Just got back from an 8 day hunt in Montana in below freezing conditions. These gloves got wet easily from the snow and stayed wet for the remainder of the trip, resulting in my hands always being numb and freezing. Other than the gloves' lack of heat retention when wet and cold, they are durable and fit well.

Great gloves. I use them for prep and take down on cold mornings. Perfect for keeping my hands warm, dry, and protected. Durable enough to use to brush in blinds but supple enough for adequate dexterity. Very slim fitting without any extra bulk or padding. Great design and the velcro cuff system works well. Fit nicely under the hudson and wading jacket cuffs.

Never been a fan of heavier gloves for shooting, so I use the Shooting Glove for that, but I rest easy knowing these are always in my blind bag for extra cold days.

This glove is great. Great for setting deeks and even shooting with if you want. Does a good job of protecting hands from getting wet and keeping warm. I don’t shoot with the right glove on because I don’t like how it feels and I call with that hand. I keep glove in left hand and it works well. The best thing you can do to keep hands warm is to keep them dry... this glove is a glove I use when my hands are wet and throbbing at end of hunt I put them on and it relieves pain and potential frostbite haha. I use them every hunt whether in layout blind or in marsh.

Was skeptical about spending this much for some gloves but when running a tiller steer in freezing conditions you won’t think twice about it when they do exactly what they say they will. Stops the wind and and still have movement with these gloves. If I lost them I wouldn’t hesitate on buying another pair. Best gloves I have ever had and I have went through some gloves.

For the size these gloves surprised me. I run a tiller boat in Arkansas every morning and I had always worn huge bulky gloves with no dexterity, For the price I expected these to be warmer and have more dexterity and better waterproofing. Man was I happy when I found out they were exactly what I was hopping they would be. Well worth the price and my everyday driving glove.

Best pair of gloves I have ever had! Waterproof and warm. After a lot of use and abuse they still hold up and have yet to fail me. I use them on the gun and even as decoy gloves. You cant go wrong!

Excellent gloves for use in all but the coldest of cold days hunting. Keep your hands warm and dry into the beginnings of subzero temps. Sleek and dexterous enough to allow you to manipulate the controls and trigger on your shotgun.

Not as warm as I thought they would be. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and my hands are freezing in these. Also the material in the palms and fingers is too soft, only wore them four times and they look all torn up already. Won’t be lasting very long. Not the Sitka quality that I expected .

These gloves work great. I used them all last season for picking up decoys and they kept my hand dry and warm. Though they are not the best for shooting and loading shells, so I shot with only my left hand glove on and my right hand bare and just put it in a hand muff. Other than that These are the best gloves I ever owned and would Highly recommend them to committed waterfowlers.

These gloves are definitely waterproof. They will soak up a little water on the outside but they will stay waterproof. I have not shot with the gloves on that much this year as I havent really needed to with our weather but picking up decoys, driving the boat, paddling a canoe these things work great. They are definitely warm as well. It can be a little tough putting them on when you are wearing something like the Hudson jacket and you want the gloves to go over the jacket wrist. I think if there was an inch more material (Longer) in the wrist with a little more material to get them around a jacket wrist before cinching them down it would help out alot. If you dont get them cinched around the wrist good water can find its way in. Makes it difficult to get them on when I am driving the boat sometimes. Will be purchasing the Delta Deek gloves for next season just so that is easier to do. Still I do recommend these gloves.

Great gloves for wet/chilly conditions. I use mine waterfowl hunting, big game hunting and keep them in the drift boat as well for chilly days on the oars. Like others mentioned, probably not the best choice for the -20 hunts we endure in MT, but a very versatile piece for many activities. I personally do not feel comfortable firing a shotgun with them on, do not offer the feel for the safety/trigger I require.

The gloves are great for keeping your hands dry and allowing you to load, shoot and handle your shot gun. Just got back from a duck hunt and my hands remained dry while putting out and retrieving decoys. They remained dry when receiving a duck from my dog in the water. Not a 3.5 star review because my finger tips were slightly cold in 40 degree weather. For sure worth the $.

So if I do a review of a product, I try to add as many details and be as descriptive as possible. Without going into details, these gloves are sick! If you currently are without the Pantanal gloves, your missing out. These gloves can cross over to the Open Country and Whitetail side for cold weather hunts. The comfort is unreal and warmth is amazing. I spend the better part of 12 hours in a deep freeze moving ice, meat and handling anything in sub zero temps with these gloves. Have yet to find a glove that has ever kept my hands warm while working in the "freezer" until now. These are a must buy and a fantastic product from Sitka.

Wow, unreal how well made these gloves are and I don't think I've been happier with a product. I was a bit doubtful since I have yet to find a waterproof glove but these did not disappoint! Not only was I dry in a rain storm, I was able to reach down under water to pick up what I dropped to keep my hands warm and dry! Never had to take them off to use my phone even. They are a little stiff when they're new but I can already tell they're breaking in with use. Great pair of gloves Sitka! Worth every dollar!

What a pair of gloves!! These are the warmest, dryest, and most versitle gloves I own. I keep them handy for all my waterfowl excursions and also any dryland cold rainy days. Got them a couple weeks ago and had a cold wet spell come in. In the canoe working on blinds these were a life saver. With all my Sitka gear, best gear I have ever owned.
