Why We Made This

We saw the need for an early to mid-season glove that provided full coverage from the wind but maintained dexterity. Our design centers around utilizing our GORE-TEX® WINDSTOPPER® technology to deliver an all-around mid-season glove for long sits in the blind. The leather palm and goat leather thumb create next level durability, allowing for both unique hunting capabilities as well as being that needed workhorse while afield.

Excellent fit, great wind protection. Use them for walking to and from stand and with a hand warmer in fanatic muff in cold weather.

Fit is good, my hands are colder with the gloves on than my bare hand in my pocket. This doesn’t come close to the stratus pants and jackets.

The gloves fit perfectly and kept my hands very warm on a recent hunting trip to Missouri.

The glove fit is excellent, as such dexterity is also excellent. I use them for waterfowl hunting on cold days when having exposed skin is just not possible. They allow me to shoot and still somewhat use a “call”. My complaint is that they are only mildly windproof, and there is no reason that this couldn’t be fixed especially for the price. They should also be waterproof for the price in my opinion. But they were not advertised as such so I really can’t complain about the lack of waterproofness. Overall, a good glove with an exceptional fit.

Got these a few weeks ago for driving my duck boat, and was very happy with them. My hands stayed warm throughout the whole boat ride down in the 20’s and not a lick of wind came through!

Only thing I did not like about them is that the leather on the fingertips squeaked. A few months back, I put a non-animal based leather conditioner on the leather. They have been washed several times and I've tried my hardest to get them to squeak. Nothing. Completely gone and so simple.

Great fit as mentioned in other reviews. NOT warm at all and I've not been able to figure out why. They are fleece lined but do not keep my hands warm any more than your typical liner glove. My other issue is I cannot figure out why a company (any company, not just Sitka) hasn't made a glove to jacket fitment work properly. I have the medium glove with a medium jacket. The size of the sleeve opening and the size of the glove are identical therefore not allowing one to fit over or under the other, it all just bunches up on your wrist making it very uncomfortable. You'd think by now that this wouldn't be an issue....

I just went elk hunting in North East Nevada. Lows of 5 and highs of 40 and lots of Nevada wind. They were great. Love them.

I bought these gloves a few years ago and want to like them. They fit great, have windstopper, and a longer cuff. However, the fingers with leather on them squeak terribly. They shouldn't be used when bow hunting.

Fit great and provides great grip. Waited to review til it was cold enough to really give them a test. Wore them hunting in 11 degree weather yesterday and my hands stayed warm. I can’t ask for much more than that. Like all of my Sitka Gear, these are well built and delivered when I needed it.

I have many Sitka Products this is the only one that ever disappointed. Material and Fit is nice. The black material at tips of fingers and thumb is extremely noisy when it rubs against itself or other items. I would not recommend this product for bow hunting, it's a liability. Would be fine for anything else.

Great fitting glove. Not as windproof as you think. Not warm at all for Late October and November in MN. Fingertips froze. For a $90 glove I expected more.

2 stars as the fit is very nice. However, these things soak up water like a sponge. I bought them thinking they are waterproof (there's a huge 'GORE' logo right on them that I guess threw me off), but learned the hard way duck hunting in salt water. I have to take responsibility for my own oversight, but for over $100 at Cabela's in British Columbia, Canada I just assumed they were a Gore Tex waterproof product. This is a very wet environment and as such these gloves will not see much, if any, use at all.

The gloves are a great light weight warm glove with dexterity and durable with the leather palm. I hunt in a wet climate on Vancouver Island. These gloves are not waterproof. My hands are usually wet within an hour of hiking in the rain through the bush. Have tried all DWR's to increase water repelling without luck.
Great glove, but not for wet weather.

Concur! Fit is perfect along with superior dexarity for the level of warmth. I also have the Fanatic gloves, one thing that I have discoverd that mixing these two gloves are the perfect world for bow or gun hunters. I am a rightie so I wear the Stratus on my left hand and the Fanatic on my right. This gives me the release/trigger feel I desire while keeping me comfortable. These gloves are a 'have to have' piece of gear!
