How to Take
Your Measurements
-
1. SLEEVE MEASURE
Bend your elbow and put your hand on your hip. Measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the shoulder and down the elbow to the wrist bone.
-
2. CHEST SIZE
Wrap the tape measure under armpits, around the fullest part of your chest. The tape measure should be snug, not so tight that it constricts breathing, yet not so loose that the tape measure slides down. Don’t puff out your chest. Stand relaxed while measuring.
-
3. WAIST SIZE
Measure your natural waist, which is the narrowest part of your abdomen, between your ribcage and hips. Stand relaxed while measuring.
-
4. HIP
For hip circumference, measure around your fullest point, approximately 8” below your natural waist.
-
5. INSEAM
In a standing position, measure from your crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back.
-
6. GLOVES
With hand partially closed, measure over the knuckles and around the hand, excluding the thumb.
-
If Waist and Hip measurements do not match up on the chart, choose a size that is between the two to find the best fit.
Ex 1: If your waist measures 28” and your hip measures 40”, typically the best fit would be a size 29.
Ex 2: If your waist measures 27.5”, and your hips measure 38”, typically the best fit would be a size 28.

Great rain jacket and overcoat! Will need to layer if cold conditions, but this jacket goes great over others without adding bulk.
This is a great rain jacket, and it fits good. I spent several days elk hunting in the rain, and never got wet. Fits well over multiple layers, so it is a little big by itself. Pit zips and pockets are a nice feature. I wish it was quieter for bowhunting, but it did keep me dry.
Excellent technical shell set that provides protection in terrible weather, while minimizing bulk and weight. I think the hood could have been cut slightly larger to accommodate women's hair. I sized up to a S from my typical XS and appreciate having extra room for layering over insulation, but the fit is already cut somewhat large. XS may have worked well too.
Love this rain jacket. Been holding out for a good piece that is well fitted and comfortable while providing protection from the rain... This is it. Thanks!
This rain gear set is my first Sitka gear. It lived up to the promises about waterproofing and breathability! I stood in the pouring rain for several hours the first time I wore this set and was totally dry (save for where water ran down my hands and into my sleeves). They fit very well, with enough room to spare over layers but without too much excess. The rain pants fit very well over jeans or pants I was already wearing and were easy to get on. Overall, I'm pleased with this product.
Very well made rain jacket. Adjustable cuffs are great. Fits around waist but seems a little large on top. Will probably be fine when layered.

Love the jacket! I live in rural Idaho and purchased this for mule deer and elk hunting in central Idaho. I am an adult onset hunter but have been a hiker my entire life. After 5 years of not being super happy with my hunting jackets because they're either too light or too insulated, I decided to start over and mirror my cold weather backpacking set up: merino next to skin, insulating layer (if needed), down puffy and a solid GORE-TEX raincoat for wind resistance and the obvious, to stay dry. So I purchased this jacketl. I'm a gear snob and had very high expectations for this jacket, especially when the price is compared to similar jackets in the industry. Right after getting the jacket I headed to southeast Alaska to fish for coho and saw an atmospheric river in the forecast. What a great way to test the jacket.
I fished a ton in SE AK and it rained even more...I stayed dry and it was comfortable to wear. Actually, i loved it so much that since I have found myself wearing it regularly as we have had a nice, wet fall. Not only does the waterproofing work but I have been able to get closer to animals more than ever before (maybe I'm growing as a hunter but also, I think this camo pattern works well). I have literally been able to stand amongst a herd of deer on a very still morning--awesome.
I gave the jacket 5 stars but if I could, I'd give it 4.5 only because everything has room for improvement. The jacket is tighter at the waist than the shoulders, as you'll see in other reviews. Also, it is nice and long, which I love, but because it sits more form fitting at the waist, it also does on my bum. Maybe I need to shrink my bum but it is like the jacket forgot the curves of women there--which can vary so much. I love the pockets mixed with the pit zips, having flexibility with pocket size and pack belts is great. Do they need to be one giant section? don't think so. However, maybe I'll be in the field one day and see the advantage.
Overall, great jacket, worth the price, and I'm a really proud owner of it. Give a try and you could love it just as much!
Really wanted to love this jacket. I have no complaints with it as a rain jacket, and it layers well, but the fit is really off. Tight around the waist, loose in the shoulders. Sits ON your waist, so if you're not wearing rain pants, you wind up with a very wet butt. Also, a small complaint: the pockets are not distinct of the pit zip, so only work if you've got the pit zip mostly closed. (For reference, I'm 5'9" and ordered a size L.)
Perfect!! Used this jacket on a storm a couple of times and it definitely did the job! The zipper underarm is awesome for when it's warm. And the jacket is great as a windstopper too. This jacket is always in my backpack doesn't matter what!
Great shell. I kept this jacket in my pack all elk season regardless of the weather. Very breathable and keeps you bone dry in the rain. Great laying piece for throwing on while glassing to keep the wind out. Fits true to size with a room to layer underneath. Love the pockets that zip up into pit zips.
