I needed a water heavy duty water resistant bag that I could throw my loaded pack into for a week hunt and not have to worry about moisture getting in (this bag is it). I found it incredibly useful for almost all of my hunts whether it was backcountry fly in, weekend wheeler hunt, spring bear by boat, or even day hunting from truck, or flying commercial, and here is why. I can load my pack inside and don’t have to worry about buckles getting smashed by doors, some ones bladder leaking in a plane, thrown on a beach... coming home after a hunt they double as a clean way to throw meat into a plane so you're not trashing the pilots floor with blood... you get the point. Unlike traditional roll top bags I am able to get in and get out without dumping all my gear to grab something on the bottom. I was impressed with these enough that I now have the 45 and two 120s that I can honestly say go on every hunt. Great product.

Purchased this based on the simple design and ability to wear as a pack. Low weight and high durability are important for getting under the 50 lb airline bag limit; in that regard, this beats heavier padded cases or lighter duffles, both. Needs improvement: the shoulder strap area pinches your neck / shoulders when worn as a pack without being stuffed into full shape. The internal straps, for example, are basically useless because the slit-style opening and stiff fabric means the bag basically self-closes when you let go, and the internal straps fall back down and get buried. So, they're a non-feature unless you want to micromanage them with each item you put in the bag. A U-shaped zipped would allow the bag to stay open and possibly fix this.
