I bought this jacket for my 14yo son for his first elk hunt in New Mexico. We hiked through a lot of brush (some taller then him) and this jacket held up amazing. The temperatures ranged from mid teens in the morning to low 40's in the afternoon. He thought this jacket was so comfortable, I couldn't get him out of it the whole trip. If you are looking for a durable warm piece of gear for your junior hunter, look no further because they will love this jacket.

I've been a Pro-Guide in CO for the past 15 years. I bought this jacket for my 7 yr old who is almost 9 now. This piece of gear is outstanding. It's been through 2 seasons of tough wear. November horseback rides at 10K+ ft, Negative 19 degree goose hunts, at least 3 January-February Mountain Lion hunts, and countless days walking to the school bus. When Sitka says "no feature is overlooked" they truly mean it. Great job on this piece of gear.
