We completely reimagined the fourth generation 90% Jacket, and in the process invented a new fabric with some incredible properties. This new iteration is three times more wind resistant than its predecessor, evening out heat retention between whisper-still mornings and howling afternoons. With the improved wind resistance, insulating the entire jacket would cause overheating, especially during periods of high exertion. So we developed a body-mapped, microgrid fleece backer that puts insulation only where you need it. The channels formed by the microgrid convectively draw warm, moist air away from the body and out of the jacket – keeping you cool on redline pushes to the next ridgetop. We improved fabric stretch and gave it a more athletic cut so you get greater freedom of movement without excess material getting in your way. The seams are thermal taped for smoothness and comfort in a variety of under layer configurations. Dual hand pockets and chest pockets help keep you organized. The 90% Jacket is pliable, durable and quiet – a precisely engineered tool that, with proper layering, can take you through 90% of your season.

I switched to Sitka this past year. I used the 90% jacket and pants most of archery and through rifle 4... It was a hot archery season in Colorado. During rifle 4 I paired the 90% with Sitka's core heavyweight product. It did not matter if it was 50 or 5 degrees... I was comfortable glassing or moving... Most importantly the breathability of these products kept me from sweating. I am highly impressed.

Just returned from the late season Colorado elk season. Single digit temps at dark to mid 30's during the day. My Sitka system performed flawlessly. If you layer right you can keep plenty warm even while still hunting. Kept cool packing out my elk by removing layers. I also used my 90 % system for antelope this year, 70 degrees mid day. Great customer service also. Two of my hunting buddies have made the investment in Sitka after seeing how well it works. Keep up the good work Sitka.

I just got my new 90% jacket, I don't know where I could wear this 90% of the time. Very thin, I'm in the northern Midwest and its first of Oct. and I'll need more layers than just a long sleeve t shirt to make it through a sit.. Thought it would be warmer!

I am just starting my collection of Sitka Gear. I started my assortment with the 90% jacket and think that it is a very nice jacket that is well made and fits my athletic frame. I understand that the 90% jacket is marketed as being good for 90% of the conditions encountered, and I would agree with that with the use of the insulation layers. As a competitive predator hunter, I hunt in some pretty tough conditions ranging from bluebird days to blowing snow. I need clothes that won't slow me down but keep me hunting at peak performance. I would like to see more of the the Whitetail styled clothing in the Open Country pattern that blends so well in dormant, winter grasses. I see many Whitetail models that I would be all over if they were in the Open Country pattern! Feel free to have a sale soon. I have lots that I need to buy now that the season is rolling! Keep up the good work, Sitka!

A. Yes you can. What method do you use to ship your products?
A. All of our orders are shipped via FedEx. Standard Ground, 2-Day or Overnight deliveries are available. Additional charges do apply for express shipments, oversized items and/or duties & customs into Canada.
How do I track my order?
A. If you have entered a valid email address through the checkout process you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number when your shipment is processed.
How long will it take to receive my order?
A. We make every effort possible to get your order processed and shipped in a timely fashion. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of order placement. If an item on your order is backordered or out of stock, you will be contacted by a Sitka Gear customer service associate to discuss alternative options.
Why do I need to create an account to order online?
A. Creating an account with us helps speed up the ordering process for you and allows you to keep track of your order history, as well as manage your profile information online.
Why does my credit card show two charges?
A. Sometimes credit/debit card statements contain two transactions, but this is only a temporary scenario. When a purchase is made, an authorization is placed on your card to temporarily hold the funds on your account. This is not an actual charge on your card. Once the order has been shipped, this authorization becomes an approval and charges your account at that time. The authorization will drop off your account within 2-3 business days (depending on the financial institution).
Can I cancel my order?
A. We may be able to cancel your order but can only do this by telephone. Please call us at 877-SITKA-GR as soon as possible after you have placed your order. Otherwise it may be too late, as we try to process and get orders out the door as quickly as possible.
