
About the Role: We are looking for a Retail Gear Guide to join our team for the opening of our Mall of America store. You will provide customers with a premium experience and excellent customer service in an engaging and authentic way. You value the opportunity to help customers find the gear that supports their pursuit. In this role, you will report to the Store Manager.
This is not a remote position.
Located in Bloomington, MN.
General Job Duties:
Authentically engage with all customers to provide exceptional customer service and experience
Become a brand expert on all things SITKA
Actively participate in reaching sales and other KPI goals
Assist in inventory procedures including floor replenishment, third party orders, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, etc.
Uphold premium merchandising standards that create an exceptional customer experience
Execute store cleaning responsibilities
Provide an excellent checkout experience for all sales, returns and exchange transactions using POS
Assist with store events
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
At least 1 year of customer service and/or retail experience preferred
Ability to effectively and accurately complete POS transactions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of outdoor gear preferred
Excellent sales and customer service skills
Must love outdoors, hunting knowledge preferred
Excellent verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Stand for the duration of the shift
Move and process shipments
Ability to lift 45 lbs
Operate general office equipment (phones, computers etc.)

About the Role: The objective of the Key Holder position is to provide exceptional guest experience and support their retail team in the day-to-day operations. This Key Holder will be tasked with providing an exceptional guest and cash-desk experience, supporting in merchandising, BOH management, product receiving and replenishment and overall floor recovery. They will play a key role in the store’s day-to-day operations by overseeing the team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational standards. They will ensure that the store principles are followed, providing exceptional guest experience through quality education, relationship building and by delivering a best -in-class Sitka brand experience.

Key Responsibilities • Open and close the store as needed, ensuring security protocols are followed. • Supervise the floor during shifts, managing staff to ensure smooth operations. • Assist in cash management, including opening/closing the registers and handling any discrepancies Guest Experience • Lead by example in delivering excellent guest experience. • Address and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner. • Support team members in meeting and exceeding guest expectations. An item can be exchanged one time. After that, it is only available to return for a refund.

We will only begin the repair after you have approved the cost.
What may be able to be repaired: Burns, tears, cuts, punctures, sun fading, excessive abrasion, accidental damage and/or neglect, and any other failures, including zippers, due to improper fit, care, storage, or use.
Unwashed garments will not be repaired. Please be sure to empty all pockets of everything, including ammunition, liquids, sharp objects, personal effects, etc.
Depending on the time of year, damage, amount and/or type of work required, our repair process may take an average of 4 to 8 weeks.
If the damage is deemed to be caused by a defect in manufacturing, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the item at no cost to you. For online orders, all warranties receive a pre-paid shipping label from FedEx within 1 to 2 business days. All garments sent in for any Warranty work must be clean.
What Is Covered Under Warranty: Zipper malfunctions, snap failures, seam stitch failures, seam tape failures, delamination, and GORE-TEX failures through the intended use of the product with proper care.
Without a receipt, at this time we can offer exchanges or refunds for items purchased in-store. We are unable to offer refunds for online purchases, but we can exchange items or set up a return for any online purchase.
