Lightweight and warm which makes it great for the pack. I've worn it under a jacket as a middle layer in colder temps, and as an outer layer over a long sleeve for the not so cold days. Definitely recommend.

Very nice light/warm vest. I had a Stratus vest that I wore out hunting and wanted something a little more refined to wear casually. This vest hit the mark. I wear an XL and the Stratus and Dakota vests in XL are a little bigger than the Ambient.
