Wore these daily on a 15 day float trip for moose and caribou. I was never in heavy rain for extended periods of time. My hands never did get wet, but the glove does retain a lot of water and took a while to dry. When active, my hands never got cold. However, early in the mornings in ~20-25* weather my fingers would begin to get cold after only glassing for 5-10 minutes. I got this pair because a sitka rep told me these were warmer than the stormfront, I'm not sure I believe that now: all in all a good glove, good dexterity even when wet. Warm in cool temps, but not going to keep to warm sitting a stand or glassing for extended periods of time in freezing temps.

First I have to say these gloves were sent to me by Sitka as part of a replacement for another piece of gear that didn't meet expectations so I'm impressed beyond words with their dedication to costumer satisfaction. The gloves performed above expectation over several days above timberline in sideways rain and wet snow, keeping my hands virtually dry. Then in a 20 minute walk through wet brush they (or I should say the left because I took the right off so I could access the trigger easily) met their match. Within 2 minutes of rubbing on wet willow stems the end of the pinky started soaking through, followed shortly by the ring finger, then middle finger, etc. this water was coming through the fabric, not in the cuff, and 20 minutes after first rubbing the wet brush I could wring water out of it. Then later after turning it as inside-out as possible, it took 2 days to dry. I'd still buy another pair because of their good points- fit, initial durability and water resistance in MOST conditions, etc. but despite what "experts" have said about Goretex, it has its limitations

A. Yes you can. If it is within 60 days of the original purchase date and you would like to return your product for an exchange or refund, please visit www.sitkagear.com/returns and follow the prompts to receive and RA#. Note, that products must be unused with hangtags still affixed and must have been purchased direct from Sitka Gear. What method do you use to ship your products?
A. All of our orders are shipped via FedEx. Standard Ground, 2-Day or Overnight deliveries are available. Additional charges do apply for express shipments, oversized items and/or duties & customs into Canada.
How do I track my order?
A. If you have entered a valid email address through the checkout process you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number when your shipment is processed.
How long will it take to receive my order?
A. We make every effort possible to get your order processed and shipped in a timely fashion. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of order placement. If an item on your order is backordered or out of stock, you will be contacted by a Sitka Gear customer service associate to discuss alternative options.
Why do I need to create an account to order online?
A. Creating an account with us helps speed up the ordering process for you and allows you to keep track of your order history, as well as manage your profile information online.
Why does my credit card show two charges?
A. Sometimes credit/debit card statements contain two transactions, but this is only a temporary scenario. When a purchase is made, an authorization is placed on your card to temporarily hold the funds on your account. This is not an actual charge on your card. Once the order has been shipped, this authorization becomes an approval and charges your account at that time. The authorization will drop off your account within 2-3 business days (depending on the financial institution).
Can I cancel my order?
A. We may be able to cancel your order but can only do this by telephone. Please call us at 877-SITKA-GR as soon as possible after you have placed your order. Otherwise it may be too late, as we try to process and get orders out the door as quickly as possible.
