We wanted a lightweight piece for variable conditions when a puffy is too warm or too bulky. So we took what we learned from the Ambient Jacket and applied it here. Built using PrimaLoft® Evolve active insulation for warmth and breathability and paired with a DWR finish, this is your new cool weather staple. The Canyon Shirt Jacket is designed to keep you warm walking between pubs on a chilly Saturday night and cool when the universe gives you the middle seat on the plane.

How to Take
Your Measurements

1. SLEEVE MEASURE

Bend your elbow and put your hand on your hip. Measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the shoulder and down the elbow to the wrist bone.
2. CHEST SIZE

Take measurement under armpits, around fullest part of chest and shoulder blades.
3. WAIST SIZE

Measure around where you normally wear your pants, keeping the tape measure a bit loose or putting one finger between your body and the tape measure.
4. INSEAM

In a standing position,measure from your crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back.
5. GLOVES

With hand partially closed, measure over the knuckles, around the hand, excluding the thumb.

Designed for minimal layering. Whether an early season piece or already insulated this garment ﬁts to prevent inefﬁciencies in heat retention caused by dead space.
S/F - STANDARD FIT

Designed to accommodate layering for more versatility from early to late season climates.
E/F - EXPEDITION FIT

Designed for maximum layering in the worst conditions. Cut roomier to accommodate additional layering underneath.

5'10" & 165 with broad shoulders, a medium is barely large enough, but it fits. Perfect length but tight in the shoulders. Not super thick insulation, but it has enough that it gets the job done on cooler days. Only downside for me is that if I have a watch on, I have to unbutton the sleeve each time I want to take it off. I wish the sleeve openings were elastic to allow me to slide it over my watch. One upside is that the chest pocket is very large. It extends all the way up to the top of my collarbone. Lots of room in there.

Great jacket. It is very lightweight and keeps me nice and warm.

XL is perfect - 6-1/220.

Only knock is that it stains very easy.

Love it. Big fan of Sitka's everyday wear here, but this jacket is honestly great. I'm on the road a lot for work and don't like big bulky jackets because I'm in and out of the car frequently for appointments (although I do have the Grindstone Jacket for those VERY cold days). Anyways, this jacket is a perfect for the crappy cold and somewhat wet weather we get here in Michigan in November and December. It was wrinkled a lot after arrival so I was worried at first but after my wife hit it with a steamer it looks great and has become a literal everyday wear for me since getting it.

Awesome. Fit is perfect doesn't have the tight shoulders like some of the other clothing so you don't have to size up and have extra bulk in the torso. I have it in black and as soon as the lichen is back in stock I will be ordering it. Love this shirt, comfy, looks great! Buy it!

Great jacket. Recently wore it under my dewpoint for neighborhood walks in the rain and it was the perfect layer. It's longer than I'd want but not a deal breaker, I'm 5'11" and got a large.

Great shirt to thrown on when there's a chill in the air and heading into town. Only reason it's 4 stars is that I wish it came in tall sizing like many other pieces by Sitka.

Perfect jacket for hanging at camp, or bumping around town. Added bonus…works well as a light insulation layer for morning hunts during early fall cold fronts. Super lightweight too!

Might be my favorite piece of clothing I've ever owned. Fit is perfect (XL - 5'11" 210 lbs). Wore it on a date Saturday night then goose hunting on Sunday. Brought home my limit and my date. 11/10. Buy this shirt
