Still better than anything else
Have had the original in Marsh since it first came out and bought the new style in Timber this past season. Lots to like about the new version but I still prefer the pit zips to dump heat in the early season. Still a 5 star product and better than anything else on the market.

Durable, Functional, and Well-Fitted
I’m 5'7" and about 238 lbs, and the XL fits great with just enough room to layer underneath. The quality is top-notch, doesn’t feel cheap at all. One of my favorite things about this jacket is the pockets. There are plenty of them, and they’re well-placed, making it super convenient while out on a hunt. I also love how high it sits, which keeps it from getting in the way. The side pockets are a nice touch, and being able to tighten the wrist cuffs to keep water out is a fantastic feature. Overall, this jacket is well worth it. Just buy it.

I only wore the jacket twice during this season. I found the jacket to fit very comfortably with plenty of movement when swinging the gun. Out standing wind protection and rain!! All day long not a drop of rain made it through! It’s is a little noisy but Water Fowl hunting no real issue.

Camo color is way off
The optifade marsh camo pattern on the delta pro is WAY OFF. It’s mostly bright yellow/gold instead of the correct optifade marsh which is more dominated by tan/brown hues. Looks terrible when paired with the delta waders. Otherwise essentially an overpriced rain jacket.

Perfect hard shell
Grab is jacket if you are looking for a bulletproof hardshell for hunting. It’s a Waterproof, windproof, uninsulated jacket. I layer for comfort so typically I don’t need a big heavy insulated jacket unless the temps dip down in the 20s or lower. Perfect setup for a hoodie with vest and this jacket as the outer layer will be all you need.

This is my first Sitka
This is my first Sitka gear purchase. Kept me dry on an all day hunt with rain most of the day very pleased with that I hope the waterproofing holds up. I got a large which is a size up for me since this jacket is designed to be worn over waders and the fit is definitely a little snug still. Waterproof zippers on the front pockets would be nice mine filled up when wading and the drain holes froze up so they wouldn’t drain. Nice camo pattern glands in well

Quality jacket
I upgraded my hunting shell when the zipper came apart on a Columbia jacket. The zipper on this jacket is much higher quality, a component of shell jackets I encourage you to note. I am confident in the gortex pro because of my experience with gortex waders. You’ll need a cap to keep the rain off your face, but the hood stays away from peripheral vision. I encourage people to try this on with a mid layer since I found the sizing tricky.

pro delta wading jacket
The new pro model sucks. My jacket was way too bright for some reason. I have delta waders and gradient jacket and they are the normal marsh colors. The delta jacket is very bright for some reason. Also the goretex material is super thin compared to the old model. My wrist straps peeled off from the Velcro on both sides like butter on the first outage.

Does it’s job
You get what you pay for with Sitka gear. This jacket has held up for 28 degree days and 65 degree days. Blocks wind and rain and plenty of space to layer up underneath if need be. Wouldn’t recommend any other outer layer for waterfowl hunting.

This is my second Delta wading jacket. Both jackets have and are performing very well, though I find that the shell is not sized for a husky physique and I've had to size up in order to have room for cold weather layering. Otherwise, best outer, foul weather, garment on the market. I've worn it in an all day, driving rain and remained dry while others in our group were soaked with their non-sitka garments. Best stuff on the market for waterfowl hunters. . . . period.

Delta PRO wading jacket
This is my 2nd Sitka wading jacket. I wanted to get the timber pattern when I am hunting in the timber or dark conditions. They do run true to size. However, if you are hunting in mid-to-late season and you will be layering, you will want to go up to the next size. As with all the Sitka gear I own, it is exceptional.
