Very warm, excellent build quality. These are true to size but form fitting. Wish Sitka would offer these in solid colors like black or green.
Great pants, really warm and comfortable.
Extremely versatile. These can be worn early season tucked into your boots or as a base layer in mid to late season. I wear these pants on most hunts. Very durable and quiet.
Most comfortable hunting pant ever! Make some SOLIDS se we can wear them every day!
Fantastic, fantastic. Pair with the Fanatic Bib and long johns, this takes you through any winter. Sooo comfortable. I'm 5' 11" , M is perfect. Waist is 30-32, if you are more stout, size L might be for you.
Great pants. I love the fabric, I wish they would have matched the same fabric and insulation type to the Midi Jacket. Perfect amount of insulation to go under my Stratus for mid-late and my Fanatic for late season cold days.
Very versatile pant, awesome mid season pant & also great for lathering late season. Love the design, wish they were a little more tough but they are comfy. I'm 5"10 180 Medium fits perfect.
These pants were definitely worth the wait. They are super warm and comfortable. I love how the legs taper for easy access into your boots and for layering. I wear these as a layering piece and as a stand alone pair of pants. I even wear them around the house when its really cold outside. I sized up and got an xl. Im 5'10 195 and usually size up in Sitka pants. I might could get away with a L but I didnt want to have to return them and wait for another size to be sent back. They are a little big in the waist but with the belt I can wear them very comfortably. These are a necessity for your whitetail kit if you're hunting really cold weather.
Waited on the Midi pants to come in stock and they were well worth the wait. Just an amazing pant, love the tightness around the calf/ankle, just couldn’t be happier. Sizing wise, I am 6’2 200lbs and went with a large and they fit great.
Awesome pant in every way, except length. At 5'7" they are simply too long. Considering the tapering of the legs, any alteration is going to change how these fit in a boot.
Simply amazing. Period. I hate layers. For years I dealt with three, four, five layers to stay warm when wearing most of my hunting outfits. My Walls set, best cold/frigid weather outfit you could buy in 2000... but don't walk in it. Perfect long-sit gear, snow won't melt lying on it. Now? Three layers down to "Feels like 15F". I wore these new midi pants over the heavyweight Merino base layers from 45-55F and they were great. Below 45, add the Stratus bibs all the way to this season's lowest "Feels like 15". Very comfortable, warm, flexible, great boot cut makes the boot on/off process simple. If these came in solids I'd wear them a lot more often in the house or just mucking around outside in the cold. Possibly one of the most important lower body pieces you can and should buy!
I bought these as my first Sitka pants. I’ve worn these without a base layer in the high 60s and with Late season base layers paired with my kelvin lite hoody and stratus jacket at 32 degrees. I’ve never been so comfortable. The tree stand felt like a recliner and I was hanging out in pajamas.
These pants are fantastic! I debated for about a week on whether or not I wanted them and can say I have never looked back since getting them. I’ve worn them as an outer layer with heaveyweight core bottoms on low 40's evening sits, and I’ve paired them with heavyweight core bottoms and stratus bibs for low 20's morning sits. They have performed amazing in all situations. I really like the fit on them. They are loose enough to allow a baselayer underneath without bunching it up, but are snug enough to fit inside my lacrosse boots comfortably. These are my new go to pants for anything in the mid-50's and below. Won’t leave camp with out them. Highly recommend!
Perfect as an early season pant in the north woods and a late season mid layer. They are more comfortable than any pants I've ever owned. No bunching and a nice fit. I'm 6'0" 180 and got a Large but I think M would have been a bit better because they're slightly baggy for me.
I got these in July. It finally got cold enough to wear these. These are most comfortable pants ever. I recently used these under my Stratus pants and they did there job. I think with base layers and Celsius Midi along with my Stratus set I could hunt down into the teens. Great addition to the Whitetail line..
Great pants, comfortable and warm. Fills the one major gap in my layering system. Should work well under my stratus bibs and make them a full season use in CT. Don't see many days cold enough here to need more. Heading to Saskatchewan and have the incinerator set and these should make sure I will be out no mater how cold.
I was so impressed with the whitetail cold weather hoodie that I had to try the pants. I wore them during a 38-42 degree day with an accompanied rain storm. Layered these with a base-layer and the rain pants kept me warm all day. Very impressed and worth it!
I have been very pleasantly satisfied with these pants. I have always liked the quiet face material, but these pants have a few other assets which have put them into the heavy rotation this fall. We've had some of that weather in the 28-50 "feels like" range lately here in Nebraska, and I've worn these with the heavier core bottoms and been plenty warm for my usual 3-3.5 hour sits on stand. I like the tapered legs (something I wasn't sure of when I purchased); I can step right into your usual rubber/neoprene type knee boots with zero issues. They also stay put, so walking in those boots doesn't cause bunching and it also helps quiet those style boots down during the walk in (if you wear those boots, you know how they can be noisy as they flex depending on what is worn inside. These pants will NOT fit outside your boots, but as a whitetail guy who puts in 80-100 hunts most season, I don't really want that in most cases anyway. Warmer than I figured, and ultra quiet. Pockets are about 75% the overall capacity of the usual pockets on Sitka pants but that's what your pack is for anyway. There is plenty of room for the essentials. A great new addition to the Sitka line.
This will be a perfect early-mid season pant for me and also a great mid layer under my Fanatic bibs. I love the material and the range of motion with the pant is awesome, no restrictions of movement at all. I am 5'10 with a 32" waist and 185 lbs....I went with the Medium and the length is perfect, but the waist is a bit snug. This will not be an issue for me because I prefer a snug fit for layering purposes but if you do not like a snug fit I recommend going with the Large.
Seriously, what a pant to offer a whitetail hunter. Quiet, warm, and relaxing to wear. Sitka outdone themselves with this addition to the whitetail line. Gonna make the trek to the woods November-January a walk in the park. Can’t wait to put the fanatic on over this addition to my long list of Sitka products this fall. Thank for a well thought out layering system!
Received these in the mail yesterday and I am really impressed with them so far. Very comfortable and warm. I have been after a good layer for the rut under my Fanatic Light bibs and these will do the job. I can see myself wearing these just as pants as well but mainly as a layer. I am 5'11' and 175 with a 32-33" waist. I might have gone with a M over a L if I tried them on in person.
Awesome pants! Will layer perfectly with my ESW pants in midseason and equinox pants into late season. The addition of these mid layer pants to the sitka line will fill a huge gap in the layering system!
Versatile piece I've been waiting to add to my Midwest Whitetail gear. These are going to provide awesome warmth and the tapered leg will allow easy layering over them, and crotch is a vented material to help rid some heat when getting to stand. Will wear them under my ESW Pant when it starts to turn colder, then under my Stratus Bibs to carry me all the way through season end!
If Sitka was slacking in any direction it was the lack of mid-layer selection, with the upcoming 2020 fall lineup they took care of business once again building another great product These things are more durable than Even thought .Versatile, definitely can use them as a early season pant and even more exciting they will be a great mid layer....loving the way they fit cant wait to actually utilize them this fall.
Beautifully crafted built tough and comfortable Just awaiting to wear them on fall day to enjoy what Sitka has once again built!.

If you are up for the effort, you can chase a whitetail into some of the roughest and most rugged and unforgiving country imaginable — places where humans have seldom tread and with good reason. The dense and swampy wilderness of South Florida is just such a place.

This is my favorite pant to wear when going under waders or bibs. Extremely comfortable, warm and quiet. I’m 6ft, 175lbs and the large fits me perfect when using a base layer.
I am 6' tall with a 36" waist and weigh about 220lbs. I ordered the Equinox Midi Pant Optifade Elevated II in a Large and they fit perfectly. They are the right fit to be layered under bibs or waders but not too tight where they are uncomfortable or impact movement and slid right into my muck boots without bunching up or being uncomfortable. I went whitetail hunting with just the core lightweight bottoms and these pants on 1/8/22 and it was about 30 degrees with a 10mph wind and I sat for over 5 hours an only got slightly chilled towards the end of the hunt. If I brought my bibs or waders I would have been incredibly warm.
These pants are my go-to from mid season as a stand alone pant and late season as a mid-layer. They are super warm and comfortable. Solid colors would be great in these. I would definitely pick up a pair. Five Stars for me. Would def recommend and would def buy again.
Only giving it a three because of how long they are. I bought the large but decided to return them because they were too long and bought the mediums instead. when I got them they were way too tight but the length was perfect but they would not work so I have to go back to the large.
