- Lightweight insulation is infused with silica aerogel, a nearly weightless material that’s composed of more than 95% air and acts as additional thermal insulation
- Exterior fabric constructed of a 27-denier polyester face with durable water repellent finish and a 27-denier polyester backer
- DWR finish resists precipitation and prevents face fabric from wetting out
- Gusseted stretch cuffs allow for smooth, easy layering and unrestricted shooting

Great insulation piece, especially for early fall and spring, when chance of rain can be in forecast as the synthetic aerolite down retains warmth when wet. I also use it as active insulation in cold temps. Not as hot as the Kelvin down but warm enough to keep you toasty while stopping for a break or glassing. Cuts wind really well too.
