Great fit. Well constructed. Needs more pockets. First Light shorts are similar is design and out perform these simply by offering more to the product (pockets).

Initial impression is a fantastic, well built short. I'll be spending a couple of months in some of Asia's hottest most humid climates and these will be my go-to shorts the entire time. Very excited to see how they perform. I have shorter stems had no issues hemming down the 9.5" inseams. FYI: I did NOT experience the sizing issues noted in the review below. I'm a size 31 waist in all Sitka gear but order a size 32 based on that review. I had to exchange the 32s for 31.

As I said in my review of the pants, These are great except for some reason they don’t run true to Sitkas usual sizing. The same feeling and fit from 36 in Timberline and and Ascent pants requires you to go to a 37 in these. Not sure why but it’s the same for pants. I hope Sitka makes another run of 37s because their sizing will make these off sizes be in high demand. Very high demand. That’s the only reason I don’t give these full stars. Sizing.
