Features & Benefits

GORE-TEX® with STRETCH Technology

Completely waterproof and breathable, the shell features a rugged GORE-TEX® laminate combined with GORE-TEX® with STRETCH Technology mapped to facilitate absolute freedom of motion when shooting in tight quarters, completely sealing out moisture and wind to form a microclimate around your body. Inside the microclimate, we’ve built in body-mapped Primaloft® insulation and micro-grid check fleece to trap additional body heat where you need it, while reducing bulk for total freedom of movement.

Sculpted Hood for Visibility

The fully adjustable hood rotates and swivels with you, offering complete weather protection without impeding your vision.

High Hand Warmer Pockets, 2 Chest and Shell Pockets

Two chest pockets, two shell pockets and two magnetic tuck-away call pockets keep you organized and focused on the sky.

Bellowed Shell Pockets

The bellowed pockets easily accommodate a box of shot shells but lay flat when empty. A velcro closure ensures safe storage, and a magnetic flap stays open for easy reloading.

Water Water-Sealing Cuffs

The cuffs have watertight gaskets that adjust to fit your wrist, so you can submerge your hand momentarily while setting or retrieving deeks without getting water up the sleeve.

Sitka’s quality is second-to-none. This jacket is made of great materials and should last a long time. This jacket is a great balance between warmth and weight. I wish the Hudson had zippers near the armpits to provide for occasional ventilation, but it’s still a great item. I look forward to using this jacket for years to come, and I plan to purchase some other gear in the coming months.

In the past, we needed to purchase new Jackets for our employees once per season. We are hard on our gear whether we are hunting or working, our gear is put through rigorous conditions all season long. Once we started wearing Sitka Gear, our guys stayed warm, dry, and healthy far more than when we used competitive products in the past. The old gear that barely lasted one season has now been replaced by far superior, Sitka Gear, that is taking care of us for three to four seasons while keeping us much more comfortable.

It's very cozy. If there were six stars I would pick that. I would buy another.

I’m 6’1 205 lbs. the large tall fits perfectly if you have broad shoulders and long arms. I wore it in Saskatoon for a goose hunt last week. It completely blocked the cold north wind in the early morning. The temp would get into the 30s and 40s later but I never got too warm either. Buy it, you won’t regret it!

This jacket feels amazing. I am 6' 1" and about 180lbs, and the large fits great. The sizing chart doesn't help much when trying to decide which size to get, so I tried on several sizes before purchasing. I would recommend trying on a couple different sizes before buying, but from what I can tell, since these jackets are standard fit, they run more true to size than the older model hudson jacket. Overall, the jacket is amazing. It is pretty lightweight and not very bulky. Also, shouldering your shotgun is easy, since the jacket is not constricting at all. Although it is pretty pricey, this jacket is worth every penny, and I would definitely recommend buying it.

Jacket feels great. Very impressed with the sizing considering everything I've purchased has always been too short. I am 6'3 and 215 athletically built and a X-large Tall fits great. A little long in the arms but id prefer a hair long then too short. The body-mapped insulation across the shoulders and neck feel very warm and very functional yet lighter than most other jackets on the market. Very impressed overall with the durability, feel, and flexibility of the jacket. Get on it I am sure they wont stick around long. Great job guys.

This is the finest product I have ever purchased in my life. You will not be disappointed. Dry, warm and comfortable is a great way to be while standing in the rain, snow and anything the great outdoors cooks up. I am a BIG Sitka fan and have not met its equal. If the price seems high to you, it won't after you realize the quality that you are holding. Every piece of Sitka gear I own is worth every penny it cost me. I live in Minnesota and this turned into my goto winter jacket. I have worn it at 20 below zero and at 50 degrees above. In the rain, snow or sun it is my favorite jacket I own. Period!
