  • Whitetail : Elevated II
(12 Reviews)

We built our quietest top to warm your core without hindering torso mobility when whitetails bolt at the mere rumor of noise. The upgraded textile and deadly quiet GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ with WINDSTOPPER® Technology allows you to move with more confidence by cutting the audible engagment distance in half, and core warmth is enhanced with compression-resistant PrimaLoft® Silver Hi-Loft Ultra insulation. The newly integrated Constant-Connect SITKA® Safety Harness Port ensures quick donning and doffing as temperatures fluctuate in the stand, allowing you to add or subtract layers without disconnecting from a harness.

Boogie AF... mobility with with warmth! Sitka put a lot of thought into this one. Pockets in perfect places and I especially like the upper chest pocket for fast range finder access. This is definitely one of the most plush articles of clothing I own. First time in the field of the year, I harvested my spring turkey in it so it comes with some luck too.

Are you are on the fence about the purchase of this piece? Its time to get off this is one of the most comfortable and versatile garments you will own. Went to Jackson hole this past week, it was negative 15. I wore this under a lite jacket and oh my was I toasty. All the pockets were all thought out to a T. Just an awesome vest som awesome I bought the whole line of fanatic gear and love it all. I live on a large ranch and eat , sleep and work and hunt in this clothing.

The Fanatic Vest is a great addition to a layering system. The best feature is the hand pouch in the front. When temps drop, I wear a base layer + Equinox Hoody + Stratus Jacket + Fanatic Vest. This setup works great and if you are bowhunting and keep your trigger finger uncovered by gloves (like with the Fanatic Gloves) then you will love the Fanatic Vest's hand pouch. When I have all of those layers on I do have a hard time zipping the vest's zipper all the way up so I usually tuck the collar down into the vest to keep it out of the way. Overall great vest, quiet, comfortable and warm.

Layering this vest over your stratus jacket is the perfect solution to extending your hunt into late November and December. Living in ND, I wanted a solution that could be added to my stratus system. Layering the fanatic vest adds more wind protection and much more warmth, especially with the kangaroo pouch. Excellent product. I wear a Large in stratus and the Large fanatic vest fits perfectly over, no need increasing the size to fit over other items.

The warmth and wind blocking features of this vest is amazing. Love the layout and pockets including the unique hand muff. This is the best hunting vest I have ever worn. Hunting gear fro Sitka makes the hunt in tough midwest fall and winter conditions so much more comfortable and enjoyable.

I just received my very own, so I have have yet to wear it in the field, but I am very stoked and have every bit of confidents it will do its job. Great product! I am a believer! trust the process...

5+Stars. I love this vest. It’s in my pack for every hunt. Kansas can be below freezing and close to 70 degrees in the same day during the rut. This is the ultimate layering piece to throw on in the morning, but knowing it’s going to warm up, or put on an hr before sunset knowing it’s going to cool off quick. Not having to unhook the safety harness is a nice touch too, preventing the unnecessary inconvenience of having to put on a lineman’s belt while changing layers. It’s quiet, warm, and wind proof.

This vest goes with me on 95% of my whitetail hunts. I don’t like too much bulk on my arms when bow hunting. Utilizing this vest allows me to layer up with a good base layer and insulating hoody then throw this vest on if it gets cold or windy. An additional benefit is that it has a similar layout to the other fanatic outerwear pieces.

I also hope that a left hand version of this vest comes out. I am blown away at the warmth of this vest. I get cold easily and this weekend wore the Core L/S, medium merino wool top, Fanatic hoodie, and the Fanatic vest out for a youth season hunt with my daughter. It was 40 degrees and a 10 mph wind. We sat on the ground in the shade and I was sweating! I have never been so warm with so little clothing. I am now a firm believer in Sitka gear!

To me this is the most overlooked piece of the Fanatic system. While everyone is talking about the new bibs and jacket, this is the piece from the Fanatic update that I wanted to add the most. In my opinion the vest has the most versatility. In extreme cold I can layer the Equinox Hoody under it, on low wind days I can use a Fanatic Hoody with my merino base layers, or even a Core Lightweight Hoody with some of my high pile Patagonia fleece underneath. This is easily going to replace my Stratus Jacket as my most versatile piece and it is significantly quieter than my Stratus. It does run a little larger for layering, so keep that in mind. A large fits me like I would have guessed an XL would, but it fits perfectly once I start adding my layers.

I love everything about this vest. Hoping they see success with the Lefty Jacket and release a Lefty in this vest also. I wear an XL in the Downpour jacket, but found that the Large is a very good fit with plenty of extra layering room with this vest.
