This was my first Sitka purchase. I was shopping for my nieces husband and found this jacket.
It was on sale 50% off. So that was a great deal to get it for $150 compared to $300 plus.
It arrived fast and before X-Mas.
I have worn it in -30F this year up near the Champlain border region. The Goretex Windstop does what it says. I stayed warm all winter walking the dogs and working the property at our restaurant and bar.
The heavy east winds never sucked the warmth out of my jacket. It kept me warm and dry.
I really like the fleece high pile lined pockets for your hands. Very roomy, warm. The interior drop pocket and inner chest zip pocket are also perfect for storing things like your gloves and beanie when coming in and out.
Layers well with my flannels, HH pullovers or other gear. With plenty of adjustable pulls to seal up when needed.
Definitely recommend this jacket.

This is one Warm Jacket! I have a Duck Oven Jacket, and I would put it about as warm as that one. Like a lot of Sitka, I would say the size is on the smaller size, which works great for me.

I didn't know what to expect with this jacket but it has exceeded my expectations. I found the fit perfect in a medium and still shoot my bow with. The fabric is very nice inside and out - plus the pockets are cozy and warm. Rain didn't hurt it. Wind did not penetrate it. Felt very comfortable in the cold. Overall, I love it would definitely buy it again in another color. Replaced some older jackets with this.
