The Duck Oven Jacket is your CORE’s best friend on late season crispy-cold days. We’ve cleverly united the wind protection of WINDSTOPPER® and the lightweight insulating qualities of Primaloft®, with Gradient fabric on the bottom third to make tucking in to your waders or bibs seam-less and non-restricting. The new Duck Oven features a more robust Windstopper laminate, the addition of upper chest pockets and the improved Gradient textile used in the bottom of the jacket.

On cold mornings, roll out of bed and crawl right into the Duck Oven. This jacket excels at maintaining core warmth, with 200 g/m2 PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation in the torso and 133 g/m2 Primaloft® Silver insulation in the sleeves to trap heat and keep you toasty when the chill creeps in. A robust WINDSTOPPER® laminate blocks even the most persistent gusts to combat further heat loss. The lower portion features the streamlined, high stretch Gradient fabric to easily tuck into waders.
The Duck Oven is an insulation piece that can be worn as an outer layer or a super warm mid layer. The high neck collar helps retain heat and thumb loops keep the cuffs low across your knuckles to provide extra hand warmth when gloves just get in the way. Lower pockets serve as hand warmers when the jacket is worn alone, upper chest pockets are accessible when worn with waders or bibs, and an additional zippered chest pocket stashes small essentials.

Just got my duck oven jacket and it is WARM. Was a bit scared when I first got it it seemed thin, but it is perfect to layer or even use as an outer shell when its a bit warmer. It is truly wind proof and I am definitely going to be purchasing more Sitka gear later this year, worth the money.

The jacket is crazy warm, hand pockets feel like fur on the inside and the chest pockets are in the perfect position, jacket is a little noisy but considering it's for duck hunting that is just fine! I'm 5'7 and about 155 pounds I ordered this jacket in a size up, a large and it fits great.

I like all the additions you made to the New 2017 Duck Oven - but you tailored the sleeves down well over an inch. It does not leave room for layering and really binds at the elbow and forearms. I really like chest pockets, because I use this as a outer shell all the time - layering underneath it. But now with layering its very uncomfortable

Awesome piece. It has been used on 90% of my hunts this season. Comfortably sitting beneath the waders or bibs it is at the core of what keeps me warm and comfortable. Combined with the Merino base layers, Traverse zip-t, Dakota Vest, and the Delta Wading Jacket as my shell, there is almost nothing keeping me from hunting in cold temperatures all day. It simply works and every Duck Hunter should own this piece of clothing.

Of all the Sitka Piece I have this one may be my favorite. Not much to say other than its an incredibly comfortable down jacket. I did put a 2" tear in one of the arms while heading to a swamp one morning but the fabric itself kept it from tearing through out the day. Fortunately I do waterfowl taxidermy and know how to sew so that problem is gone. Just know you need to be careful going through briers in this jacket due to the nature of its materials. I would definitely say it was my fault it ripped. I layer this jacket with the Core midweight, Vest, (duck oven) and Hudson. I am 190 lbs 6'1 and a Large fits me great. If anything, a tad small but not constricting in anyway and just where it needs to be for layering purposes.

What method do you use to ship your products?
A. All of our orders are shipped via FedEx. Standard Ground, 2-Day or Overnight deliveries are available. Additional charges do apply for express shipments, oversized items and/or duties & customs into Canada.
How do I track my order?
A. If you have entered a valid email address through the checkout process you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number when your shipment is processed.
How long will it take to receive my order?
A. We make every effort possible to get your order processed and shipped in a timely fashion. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of order placement. If an item on your order is backordered or out of stock, you will be contacted by a Sitka Gear customer service associate to discuss alternative options.
Why do I need to create an account to order online?

Why does my credit card show two charges?
A. Sometimes credit/debit card statements contain two transactions, but this is only a temporary scenario. When a purchase is made, an authorization is placed on your card to temporarily hold the funds on your account. This is not an actual charge on your card. Once the order has been shipped, this authorization becomes an approval and charges your account at that time. The authorization will drop off your account within 2-3 business days (depending on the financial institution).
Can I cancel my order?
A. We may be able to cancel your order but can only do this by telephone. Please call us at 877-SITKA-GR as soon as possible after you have placed your order. Otherwise it may be too late, as we try to process and get orders out the door as quickly as possible.
