The Celsius Shacket takes the concept of body-mapping to the extreme, giving you the insulation you need, only where you need it. A first-of-its-kind construction incorporates a diagonal full-length zipper and built-in front hand muff with short sleeves that leave zero bulk on your forearms, completely eliminating string contact. Features & Benefits

Insulated Hand Muff

The insulated hand muff provides quiet and easy access to keep your hands warm without the need for bulky gloves, enabling more accurate shooting. Shown here worn over the Core Lightweight Crew LS.

Quilted Construction

An ultra-quiet microfleece sheathes 80 g/m2 and 100g/m2 PrimaLoft® Silver Hi-Loft insulation, which retains warmth even when wet and dries quickly. The sandwich of silent microfleece and advanced synthetic insulation is quilted to compact the fabric and minimize bulk.

Quiet Zipper Pulls

All zippers are constructed to minimize noise.

Diagonal Zipper

The diagonal zipper leaves your anchor points free and makes room for the built-in hand muff to keep your hands warm and dexterous.

Safety Harness Pass-Through Port

The safety harness pass-through port allows you to wear a harness closer to your body and add or subtract layers without removing the harness as conditions change.

PRIMALOFT Technology

PrimaLoft® products are the ultimate in insulation technology for hunters. Ultra-fine fibers are engineered to retain maximum warmth even when wet, and create a product that is quiet and less bulky, allowing for greater freedom of movement.

An absolutely quiet, warm and versatile piece. I was very unsure at first, due to the fact there was nothing else like it. Now it’s goes with me on every trip.

Highly impressed with this product! This garment holds heat in, and keeps you in the stand longer for sure! Used this mid-season as an outer garment, and a Mid-Layer during late season for insulation. Quiet, Warm, and versatile! I love the kangaroo pouch to keep my hands warm. The short sleeves were bizarre at first glance, but after 2 years in the field with the Shacket, it is a garment I always keep close! Thank you Sitka for another solid piece!

Tried it for open ocean Salmon fishing in BC. Humid, wet, wind, cold. After a few days if weather is bad I get chilled to core and can’t warm up till I get home. This vest is noticeably warmer. I had my floater jacket off a few times I was so comfortable. Glad I bought it. I bought it a bit tighter so no room for wind to go underneath between vest and body. It performed like a thick down jacket but none of the moisture issues you would encounter with a down jacket of course.

for here in NC, it is a great system. it keeps me cool in the rut, where its usually 40-60 degrees, and i usually layer it on top of a base layer and a hoodie. works good, I have not used it as an insulation layer, but would see the problems the side zipper would create if it was used in that way. however, since i use it as an outer layer, the side zip is one of my favorite features. to each his own, but it is clear that sitka was keeping southern white tail hunters in mind when designing this piece, seeing that midwest hunters would likely use the fanatic system.

While this seems like an odd thing, this piece really does bring versatility to my system. I'm glad I added this one to the bag.

I love this "vest." Great for insulating or wearing as an outter layer in warmer weather. I live and hunt in Alabama where we don't have very cold winter, but they are very humid (50-75% average) which makes it seem colder. Only thing I would advise is ordering a size larger if you plan on layering more than a pair of long johns or t-shirt, their clothes don't leave much room for your own personal layering technique.

This is an incredibly versatile item. I have wore it under other jackets as well as an outer layer. The possibilities are endless. and with no forearms to bulk up it is a bowhunters dream layering item.

First let me say that I have a bunch of Sitka gear and love most of it. I even like this thing. It was the first piece that I bought and I was enamored with the design as well as the brand. My primary use is in layering for November and December bowhunting in North Central Mass (40 to 15 degrees) and so perhaps my critique is going to be irrelevant to others. I find that the short sleeves actually create more bulk than I would have thought and I am not sure that the warmth trade off is worth it. Because I am layering under other items, the muff is of no value so the zipper design becomes an unnecessary obstacle. When I layer it under my Fanatic Lite jacket the 2 layers of collars tend to be a bit tight and a third layer gets to be impossible. I am 5'7" 175 with a reasonable build but maybe it is just me so take this for what it is worth. I find myself opting for my down vest more and more. If I had it to do over again, I would buy the Fanatic vest. Bottom line though is that it does what it says and if the issues above are not a problem for you, this is a fine piece of gear. I would have given 3 stars but at this cost things need to be absolutely satisfactory.

This product worked great for walking in on public land keeping me warm enough in the morning, and the hot weather was not over barring. Great product and great innovative idea.

This is a great piece!! I love wearing this as an outer layer with the fanatic hoody. Works great on slightly cool mornings. I love the kangaroo pocket

This is my 2nd favorite Sitka piece only to the Fanatic Hoodie. This is incredibly warm and versatile for mid-late season. I used the Shacket as my outer layer with the Core Heavyweight Zip Tee, and Fanatic Hoodie underneath on several hunts down into the 12-20 degree zone and stayed perfectly warm. The front hand muff pocket worked perfect for me while wearing only the Fanatic gloves. This is a must have!

Great product but be aware that, at least for me, it doesn't really work as a late season insulating piece. Under the fanatic jacket it is pretty darn bulky. I think the fanatic hoody would be a better piece for insulation. As an outer layer it is great.
harry combs | 07. 18. 16
As a mid layer this piece is nice and warm with good mobility in the stand. The only drawback for me is the diagonal zipper and it might be ok for a top layer but not a mid layer as I intended it for in the tree stand. Problem being is when you have an outer layer with a regular vertical zipper and you want to adjust the diagonal inter-layer. You have to zip the outer layer almost to the bottom in order adjust the diagonal if it's past the halfway point. I'm a small frame person so I can imagine how it might be for a person with a larger waste. Other than the zipper, it's really nice!

Great piece for the minimalist bowhunter! Prior to switching over to the Fanatic Set for the cold temps, the Shacket kept me comfortable and quiet into the mid 30's paired with the Fanatic Hoody. Would have given four stars if the kangaroo pocket was lined with the same hi-pile material found in the Fanatic Jacket. I used the Fanatic Beanie stuffed into the pocket as a substitute. If that was incorporated into future iterations of the Shacket you'd have a home run.

As a Wisconsin bow hunter we deal with weather that varies. One of the variables is temperature. This Shacket is the best buy so far that I have worn. It is so comfortable, maneuverable and is just the right insulation. The no sleeves make it breathable, the heat pouch extends the days of being able to use and its of course silent. Recommended buy and not just for Midwestern hunters.
260Remguy | 03. 17. 16
I bought the Shacket from MidwayUSA and have worn it on four predator hunts as a middle layer. I thought that I would like it more than I do, but the way it fits just doesn't work for me. I would have sent it back. The concept is great and it might work for some people, but I'd suggest that anyone who is considering buying the Shacket try it on in the store over the layer(s) you're going to wear it with.
John R | 02. 18. 16
I never tired this in the field. I just could not get over the feeling of an odd fit with it. Not a huge fan of the diagonal zipper setup either. I get that it allows the kangaroo pouch, but I just do not like the feel of it partially unzipped. It is a nice made garment and appeared to be warm. Just did not seem like it was going to work for me, so I sent it back.
Patrick | 01. 25. 16
I underestimated this product. Here in Missouri with only a couple of thin base layers this Shacket kept me hunting in single digit temps despite being short sleeved. Unbelievable product.
Joe | 01. 19. 16
Love the Shacket in most ways, and in others I was kind of disappointed. It may be just me, but I have the XL and it fits perfect for layering over the top of my Fanatic Hoody and under my Stratus, but when I am wearing it as an outer I have an issue with the zipper catching my bow string as I shoot. I have a wider neck (17 1/2) so zipping it all the way up compresses my neck uncomfortably, but if I leave the last 6 inches unzipped the open flap (because of the diagonal zipper) catches the bow string, throwing my arrows left. I would like to see the neck a little bigger in the larger sizes because the assumption is this will be layered over top of something. Just my .02.

I heard through a Sitka Pro Staffer that this was a must have for bow hunting all seasons. It turned out to be the most versatile piece of gear I own. Great in 45 degree and above as outer layer, but find it even more useful as a layer for core temperature control on the 20 degree mornings.
Travis | 11. 02. 15
I have the previous model in a vest. Love the fit and feel. Excellent all season right into late December. Integrated hand muffs are the best feature I have ever had in a bow hunting/ deer hunting outfit.
Scooter | 10. 20. 15
If you are a bow hunter and you don't have this Jacket in your pack, I'm sorry. My favorite piece so far of the new line! Well placed insulation density coupled with short sleeve design makes this guy a winner.
