I love this "vest." Great for insulating or wearing as an outter layer in warmer weather. I live and hunt in Alabama where we don't have very cold winter, but they are very humid (50-75% average) which makes it seem colder. Only thing I would advise is ordering a size larger if you plan on layering more than a pair of long johns or t-shirt, their clothes don't leave much room for your own personal layering technique.

This is an incredibly versatile item. I have wore it under other jackets as well as an outer layer. The possibilities are endless. and with no forearms to bulk up it is a bowhunters dream layering item.

First let me say that I have a bunch of Sitka gear and love most of it. I even like this thing. It was the first piece that I bought and I was enamored with the design as well as the brand. My primary use is in layering for November and December bowhunting in North Central Mass (40 to 15 degrees) and so perhaps my critique is going to be irrelevant to others. I find that the short sleeves actually create more bulk than I would have thought and I am not sure that the warmth trade off is worth it. Because I am layering under other items, the muff is of no value so the zipper design becomes an unnecessary obstacle. When I layer it under my Fanatic Lite jacket the 2 layers of collars tend to be a bit tight and a third layer gets to be impossible. I am 5'7" 175 with a reasonable build but maybe it is just me so take this for what it is worth. I find myself opting for my down vest more and more. If I had it to do over again, I would buy the Fanatic vest. Bottom line though is that it does what it says and if the issues above are not a problem for you, this is a fine piece of gear. I would have given 3 stars but at this cost things need to be absolutely satisfactory.

This product worked great for walking in on public land keeping me warm enough in the morning, and the hot weather was not over barring. Great product and great innovative idea.

How do I track my order?
A. If you have entered a valid email address through the checkout process you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number when your shipment is processed.
How long will it take to receive my order?
A. We make every effort possible to get your order processed and shipped in a timely fashion. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days of order placement. If an item on your order is backordered or out of stock, you will be contacted by a Sitka Gear customer service associate to discuss alternative options.
Why do I need to create an account to order online?

Why does my credit card show two charges?
A. Sometimes credit/debit card statements contain two transactions, but this is only a temporary scenario. When a purchase is made, an authorization is placed on your card to temporarily hold the funds on your account. This is not an actual charge on your card. Once the order has been shipped, this authorization becomes an approval and charges your account at that time. The authorization will drop off your account within 2-3 business days (depending on the financial institution).
Can I cancel my order?
