How to Take
Your Measurements
-
1. SLEEVE MEASURE
Bend your elbow and put your hand on your hip. Measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the shoulder and down the elbow to the wrist bone.
-
2. CHEST SIZE
Wrap the tape measure under armpits, around the fullest part of your chest. The tape measure should be snug, not so tight that it constricts breathing, yet not so loose that the tape measure slides down. Don’t puff out your chest. Stand relaxed while measuring.
-
3. WAIST SIZE
Measure your natural waist, which is the narrowest part of your abdomen, between your ribcage and hips. Stand relaxed while measuring.
-
4. HIP
For hip circumference, measure around your fullest point, approximately 8” below your natural waist.
-
5. INSEAM
In a standing position, measure from your crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back.
-
6. GLOVES
With hand partially closed, measure over the knuckles and around the hand, excluding the thumb.
-
If Waist and Hip measurements do not match up on the chart, choose a size that is between the two to find the best fit.
Ex 1: If your waist measures 28” and your hip measures 40”, typically the best fit would be a size 29.
Ex 2: If your waist measures 27.5”, and your hips measure 38”, typically the best fit would be a size 28.

This jacket is the PERFECTION ! I have the previous version and I just love it ! I found mine very quiet but this one is way more silent !
The fabric is sooo soft, it's like hunting in a pyjama. I use it for late whitetail hunting in Quebec, Canada (treestand and ground) and hare hunting when the weather is very cold. I did a hare hunting last winter at -26 fahrenheit without any problem ! Even waiting in a treestand at -10F or hours is a child game.
I love the front zipper who creates a front pocket. I used hotpad inside to keep my hands warm between shots/calls (i'm not a huge fan of gloves). The arms lenght is also perfect and protect the wrists from cold.
I'm 5''6 and 146lb, I have a small (I bought it few years ago at 130lb and it still fits).
As soon as the temperature dropped below 45 degrees in my cabelas brand gear I would start to get cold. I could hardly stand sitting out in the cold below that for long periods of time. I heard great things about Sitka and decided to try it out. THE KEY TO SITKA IS THE WHOLE SYSTEM. Just having pieces of the system works but if you want to be completely warm go for the whole system. I have the entire whitetail women’s system and hunted in 10 degree northern Missouri weather without even getting cold. I could sit all day in 10 degree weather in this system. The best part of this jacket is the built in muff. I don’t even wear gloves anymore (it’s basically an oven for your hands)! Trust me, this stuff is worth the money.
I love this jacket! I used to wear Under Armour for hunting and always froze, but decided that was normal - I could deal with it. Until.. one day, I went hunting with my brother and I’m over there shivering and he asks “you’re cold?!” as if he’s surprised or something. I look over and he’s warm as can be, not a care in the world. I decided right then, “I have to get those clothes.” Since then, I’ve acquired the Fanatic bibs, jacket, and the Hudson jacket. Best purchases ever! (I now tell other women that I was cold, until I discovered Sitka.) Just get it; it’s worth every penny!
Are you tired of shivering during your hunts? If so you must invest in this jacket! I LOVE this jacket. I would wear this jacket as a normal winter coat if they had it in just black. The days of talking myself out of a hunt because I thought it was too cold and windy are over. I am a little sad I don’t have the latest version as Sitka made some great changes. I wear this jacket on hunts when it’s below freezing and sometimes when it’s in the 40’s depending on the wind chill. The material is soft, warm and silent.

I am 5'2" 160 lbs and got the large. It is the perfect size for layering. This jacket is insanely warm and windproof. Super nice for stand sitting and I love the built in muff pocket and bino pocket. Awesome jacket!
I normally wear a XS however didn't want to feel "bound" in a hunting coat so I have the small. I wear this coat in very cold, windy temps during archery season while in tree stands and it by far beats any other jacket I've ever owned. I only wear my UA Base 4.0 layer under this jacket and I have never felt like I needed another layer. The jacket is heavy but totally worth its weight in gold (or bitcoin) ... it is absolutely worth the money! The "cross" zipper is a unique design that works wonders, the pockets are places in perfect location as it doesn't interfere with pulling by bow. The hood has an insert for my "life line" ...... I LOVE THIS JACKET!!!!
This jacket and bib combo is absolutely amazing. I’ve owned cheaper combo sets and there is a big difference. Every feature is well thought out. In very cold weather, I wear merino base layer, down jacket and pants, and this jacket and bib set - I can sit out all day and be comfortable.
The only thing I wish it had would be a lighter piece of fabric to cover the nose area. The jacket covers the chin and bit of the mouth area, but the nose gets pretty cold. I use a thicker balaclava underneath but then it’s too thick to zip the jacket up all the way. Some moveable/adjustable form of fabric around the nose would be a fantastic addition. Other than that, I am so thrilled with this set. Best hunting purchase ever.
Stoked on this jacket - ordered online so was not able to try on and feel/evaluate. But it's very thick and heavy; perfect for cold conditions. I usually wear a large in most brands, and so I was wondering if I should size up to account of excess layers, but the large fits perfectly. I can still fit a thin down jacket underneath should I need too for the northern climate. Love the length of the arms, the fit and the thickness of this jacket.
