By now, our legacy at SITKA is pretty closely tied to our bestselling jacket of all time, the Jetstream. It’s not only the longest-running piece in our big game lineup, but it’s one of the most-storied pieces in SITKA history.

For over 15 years, this jacket has embodied our dedication to innovating the hunting industry. And though we’ve iterated on the design, the Jetstream’s core function has remained consistent: complete windproof protection for rugged backcountry conditions.

Two guys in particular have played an incredibly pivotal role in keeping the Jetstream as cutting-edge as possible. John Barklow, the Director of Product at SITKA, is the brains behind the latest blueprint, and Montana hunting guide, Tyler Johnerson, is the long-time gear tester who makes sure it’s tough enough to handle whatever gets thrown its way. This duo has seen every iteration of the Jetstream to date, and they know better than anyone what it’s capable of.

After nearly two decades, the legacy of the Jetstream continues to strengthen. It’s still the gold standard for backcountry wind protection, and there’s no slowing down.
