Great Hunting Shoe

I recently used these on a deer hunt in the California hills north of Lake Berryessa. When climbing up a steep hill I felt that I had great support. The shoe itself feels very soild. If you're thinking about getting this shoe to look cool in, I would get something else. I will say it isn't a comftorable shoe on first fit, but after doing a trail run in them, they broke in pretty well. These also did well on my trail run. I'm super stoked I went with this purchase and I'm looking forward to using them more on my less intense mountain hunts and trail runs. I definetly would not consider these your typical going around town shoe. It can definitely do that, but it performs and feels better when you use it for it's intended purpose.

Bought these for early season hunt. They were light enough to make a 3/4 mile walk into the blind. The GORE-TEX was great for the shallow creek I had to cross. Way more comfortable than boots for early season.

Bought the solid olive green Equinox guard hoodie for early season blind hunting. Great pickup; the temperature for my hunt was 93 degrees. Kept me comfortable enough for a four hour afternoon/evening sit that resulted in a successful buck harvest.

Great shoes with exceptional traction. The are true to the size. The opening in the shoe seems snug when you put it on. I hope that as I break them in that will change a little. Can’t wait to really put them to the test. I haven’t worn them a lot but are nice enough I wore them to church.

Well let me just say I love everything about the shoe except the one thing that made me give it a one star rather than a 4 or 5 is the tongue of the shoe there is no movement at the top and it is stitched so tight that its a struggle to just get your foot in it's like trying to put your shoe on already tied . very disappointed!!

My least favorite of all my gear

Wonderful product that fits great and preforms well with one major drawback. The back of the boot that contacts the Achilles area will absolutely rub you raw. I’ve tried multiple types of socks, I’ve tried stretching and over developing the tension on the area, nothing works. It’s well made so it holds form very well. Unfortunately, it’s a product I’m unable to use due to this drawback. Definitely try them on before purchasing as I never do and probably could have saved myself some pain and discomfort.

Most comfortable and warm jacket I’ve ever purchased. This is my second one and if you want to stay warm while you duck hunt, I would recommend you get you one.
