Although Jonathan Wilkins had already started duck hunting a few years before he bought a dilapidated old church in the backwoods of Arkansas, that was the moment his life truly changed. That was where he created Black Duck Revival, a waterfowl hunting lodge he rebuilt with his own hands to create a welcoming space for hunters of all backgrounds and abilities.
In addition to leading all-inclusive hunting and cooking experiences from his Black Duck Revival lodge, Jonathan hosts a popular podcast under the same name, too. He’s also a writer and chef who shares recipes and experiences that connect with hunters of all stripes.

Old Church
Five years ago, Jonathan Wilkins, bought an old, southern church in the Arkansas Delta. Initially, it was only to serve as a bunkhouse for personal duck hunting expeditions. He thought a good scrubbing and judicious use of paint would yield a passable waterfowl camp. As he soon learned, he was beyond his depth.
