WARRANTY

We stand behind every product we make. If you are unhappy with any of our products at the time you receive it, feel free to send them back for a refund or exchange.  Products are warrantied for materials and workmanship for the life of the product.  We will try to repair damage caused by normal wear and tear at a reasonable cost.  See below for more details.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

There may be cases in which you may want to exchange or return a new piece of gear due a concern about fit, product expectations, or a similar reason. Sitka will accept unused garments originally purchased direct from Sitka to issue a replacement. Gear must be returned within 60 days of the original purchase date.  If a replacement product is unavailable we will contact the customer to determine how they would like to proceed. Returned items should be sent with the Sitka return form and a RA# received from a Sitka customer service representative.  If you do not have one, please contact Customer Service (customerservice@sitkagear.com), and please have you order # ready. Gear received without a RA# or proper return form will be sent back to the customer.

By law, garments sent in for repair must be CLEAN; you must wash used garments before mailing. Dirty garments will be returned without a resolution of your return.  Please be sure to ship the package with a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance. Typical turnaround time FOR RETURNS/EXCHANGES – with shipping – is about three (3) weeks, but may be longer during periods of high volume. For faster turnaround, please use an expedited shipping service (such as overnight or 2nd day). Expedited orders will receive priority processing whenever possible. If priority shipping is required for return shipment, please note on the return form; that cost will be incurred by the sender.

In the case of returns, we will credit the original credit card for the returned item(s) upon receipt. The credit card will be charged for the replacement item(s) when shipped. If we cannot exchange the item to comply with your request, we will contact you for alternative options or credit the credit card.

REPAIRS

While Sitka’s gear is built to be tough, it is not invincible. It will be put to the test, encountering limbs, barb wire, rocks and other conditions that may harm or damage the gear. If your gear is damaged or needs repair, please contact our authorized agent:

Rainy Pass will also make the determination as to whether or not the garment is repairable and if the damaged is due to accident, improper care, negligence, or normal wear and tear. If the damage is due to improper use or wear and tear, Rainy Pass will give you an estimate of the cost of repair, you can then choose how you wish to proceed. If the repair or damage is due to a defect in material or workmanship, Rainy Pass will either repair the garment at Sitka’s cost or Sitka will replace the item. If the garment has sentimental value, and you would like to have it returned to you rather than being replaced, please make this very clear to us in your letter.
