Just Right

Purchased to replace my Gradiant Hoodie that "accidently got put in the drier. It's not too tight around the arms and chest, but has the taper at the bottom. Perfect for me! Not as heavy and thick as the Gradiant was, but just as warm.

Beautiful gear and great fit but definitely runs small. When you order a hoodie you think hoodie and this is more like a shirt with a hood. Order oversize not likely to layer underneath this item.

Wore this for the first

Wore this for the first time the other day and I don’t know what they could do to make it better. From the fit, to the feel. Seems to be warmer than you would think, very low bulk for the warmth. Probably slightly warmer than a heavyweight/fanatic/grinder hoody but a looser fit. The zip kangaroo pocket is a nice touch. The ONLY thing I would maybe add is a thumb hole or loop for easier layering. This hoody with a Dakota/jetstream vest over it would be a very versatile and often used setup in anyone’s closet. 9. 8/10 as it is 10/10 with a thumb hole.

Great fit!

As a tall guy, I find it hard to find pullovers that fit my arm length. I’m 6’6 and have great range of motion without the sleeves riding up on my arms. I will definitely buy again.

Love this thing! The Alpha Fleece is going to be my go to in the stand. This hoodie is water resistant and extremely good at blocking the wind. I plan on using this as a stand alone in early season and a great mid layer as the temps plummet. Great for everyday fall conditions. I’ve always wanted Sitka to make a windproof fanatic hoodie but this may be better. This should be considered a must have.

Warm, lightweight, great fit. Reduced my amount of sweat quite a bit while hiking with gear. I have used it both as a layer under a coat and by itself and it’s proven to work very good both ways.

Not your average hoodie

This isn’t your average hoodie. The DWR finish really makes this feel really durable. It’s thin and comfortable enough to be worn around camp or on warmer hunting days. But also has the grid fleece which allows it to become a great piece under other items like a Dakota Hoodie or delta wading jacket. Versatile and well made.

Absolutely crushed it with this one. Soft grid fleece in the inside, warm abrasion resistant exterior, this hoodie is legit. Sizing is perfect for your normal hoodie size.

Hood and Chest Pocket

At first, I didn’t like the hoodie because the hood is an odd shape and fit and there is no chest pocket. I use kangaroo pockets and chest pockets more than any other pockets for keys, wallet, phone, knives, matches, gloves, and ammo, so I prefer a good layout of pockets that can be secured. I like the color and layering the hoodie with another midweight synthetic or merino layer under it. It’s been good for the wind. It’s similar to a lighter weight Dakota Hoodie.

The fit and finish is top notch. The hoodie seems to run true to size. The Alpha hoodie is warm and has a good amount of wind protection, haven’t been in any rain or snow yet to test the water resistance. I wear this almost daily
