So far so good

The fit is great. Mobility is great. Big fan of the gusseted crotch. Still too warm to really test them but if they're anything like the Alpha Fleece top, I'll be happy. Just like with the top, I went with the XL so I had plenty of room to layer underneath.

I always wear an XL in everything I buy. With these everything else about the pants besides the waist fit great. I had to always tie the draw string to keep my pants up. Other than that these are vert warm, comfortable pants that work great for casual wear or as a thermal layer. Happy with my purchase.

Comfortable

Warm, great for layering, and nice material. Was looking for a warmer pant for colder days in the stand as jeans and a base layer just wasn't cutting it. These fit the script perfectly. Went with a size medium. A little loose in the thighs but expected with a standard fit it comes in. Another quality Sitka product.

Unexpectedly my favorite pants

I bought them to use on ice for hockey coaching, they are amazing for this. Although, they are warm, breath well, articulated fit, and more comfortable than sweat pants. I wear them all the time, and I will also use them under my waders and deer hunting overalls. By far, the best pants I own. I have 3 of them now!

Great for casual or under waders

I have been waiting to find a casual pair of pants that would be warm for those crisp fall days but also would work great to wear under waders. I'm not someone who wants to wear a bib under waders. I can use these for waterfowl or deer and I know it will keep me warm in the marsh or stand up. I always go with solid colors except for my outer most layers because I can use them casually.

Wader/Everyday pant!

Got these primarily for wearing under duck waders but they are so comfortable I wear them daily! Really good fit, they don't bunch or rise at the ankle when in waders. Great for walking the dog on breezy days too. Would be nice if they had a fly but other than that these are solid!

Only 4 stars cause of the fit. Felt a little around waist, then slims down to upper thighs. After that fits was great. Comfortable, warm, and blocked the wind nicely.

Pant review

Wore these pants as a base layer below an outer rain pant while fishing and spring black bear hunting in Alaska. Average daily temps were in the 40s to 50s and my legs did not get cold the whole time. Along with keeping me warm they were very comfortable to wear all day long while hiking through the mountains, fishing on the boat, or glassing side hills for several hours. I was very satisfied with the quality and performance of this product.

Size M. 5'9", 160 LBS. Pants fit great, and would work on guys an inch or two taller with bigger legs. Drawstring waits cinches them up nicely. Comfortable, warm, and soft.

I wore them for the first time 2 days ago under my waders while fly fishing in cold water. The pants were perfect; kept me warm and dry all day. I would have given 5 stars but have only worn them once.

These are the most comfortable pants ever made! From a mid layer for hunting, wader pants, or just everyday wear pants you will absolutely love them! More comfortable than sweat pants! Absolutely amazing!

THE best sweatpant I own!

I'm a huge sweatpant fan. I own more than anyone should. So when I saw Sitka's offering, I had to try them out. I loved them so much I bought a pair for my friend, and I'm buying a 2nd pair to have both colors. They work as an insulation layer on cold days and as an outer layer on cool days. Extremely comfortable, the tapered legs make layering easy with no clumping. As far as sizing goes, I would normally get a small (30" waist), but the medium was the smallest they offer and it fits just fine. The draw string ensures they stay put.

Light weight warm clothes are key for spring fishing in Michigan. The alpha fleece pants keep me on the water longer.
