Nice Everyday Vest

I bought this vest on sale. Sizing is a little off as XL in most Sitka clothing is spot on. This vet runs largs and I probably should’ve sent it back to exchanged it for a smaller size. I also wish it had a waist cord to block the wind. It’s definitely a very nice looking vest, just not very form fitting as other SITKA Gear I own. I have the AF jacket too, and it fits much better than the vest in the same size. If I get another, I will size down to a large.

Light weight warmth!!

Very versatile vest

In all fairness, I have two of these. On one, the pocket liner was not sealed/welded, so the left pocket is useless, hence the 4 stars not 5. Otherwise this vest is great. Slightly breeze-proof and sheds a bit of drizzle. Light enough to layer easily without being too warm. I wear it fishing in the morning until the sun gets up. It’s perfect to put on as the sun goes down for Texas spring hunting. So far, it has been surprisingly durable and the fleece pattern has stayed fluffy (not pilled or packed down) through two seasons of frequent use and washing. It will catch on cactus and cedar, but better than the Ambient line in that regard. I probably wear it more than my Jetstream now if that is possible.

Gift for an anniversary.
