comfort + durability

Perfect for early archery hunts
I wore these on an Elk archery hunt in NM and they were the most reliable pants I had. They dry quickly and are much tougher than other options. They get snagged on a few branches and did not tear. Very pleased and would recommend.

Best light weight hunting pants
Loving these already. They feel light test durable and I can move around well in them. They aren’t the most quiet but the fact that they are tapered so well removes the extra material so they can still be used for bow hunting and there isn’t extra material rubbing together when you walk. I plan on wearing these for all scouting and hunting through the fall here in SC. Just will throw some wool leggings underneath them when it gets a little colder in October. I would go one size up if you’re buying. I’m 6’0 215 and have pretty big legs and the 34 was perfect.

I love Sitka! Don’t get me wrong but the sizes are so off. I’m living in the Netherlands, and Sitka Gear isn’t easy to get. I work for an American company called StoneAge in Durango Colorado. I can ship the items to one of my colleagues and they’ll ship it to me. I just recently bought the acsent pants and the timberline pants. According the waist size reference i need a size 42. I measured 4 times. Waist size 107 cm. And now i just tried the pants …. . way to big…. So disappointing. !!

I bought the Ascent Pants in the color Optifade Subalpine for my avid hunter boyfriend as a gift for graduating college this year. He absolutely loves them! I purchased the Ascent Pants to use for Turkey and early deer season. They are well made, like every other Sitka piece I own, and will get plenty of use. They do run a little small, nit allowing me to layer much, but the time of year I plan to use them I won't need more than a light base layer if anything. Worth picking up.
