Very grippy and solid impact resistant.

Fit well true to size in size 13. They do run narrow but fine for a D width foot. Mid sole absorbs impact very well. They breathe well which is why I did not go with Gore-Tex. Not a lot of arch support but that is subjective for each individual foot. I installed my own insole and all is good. I personally like them and I really like the color with the lighter colored sole. Very light weight for a trail shoe and seem to be built well.

Havnt had them long but what I will say is I've never had a pair of shoes this comfortable. Theyre like walking on a cloud.

Nice but sizing wrong

I wear a 9 in Sitka flip flops, Rangers, and rovers, ordered a 9 in these and they just a bit to small.

Wear it as an everyday tennis shoe. Very comfortable and fits true to size!!

Good shoe poor arch support for long hikes

Good looking, rugged and great grip on slippery terrain. However, the shoe pad insert is wafer thin. I replaced it with Sheep feet insert for better support on long, rugged hikes.

I like the fit, wide at the toes and super lightweight. Great color and traction. Might buy the waterproof at some point.

Great Shoe for the Heat

Bought these for a West Texas white wing dove trip. Way better suited than a boot in 100 degree heat. Wore them with shorts and a tshirt. Runs small, order one size larger. They perform like a heavy duty sneaker.

Is this the perfect walking shoe?

From on my feet all day at work to slinging arrows down range these shoes feel like you're walking on a sleepnumber bed. The heel lock cinches you in the shoe without them having to be super tight. I'm not sure I would enjoy running in them cause I don't enjoy running period ha! But they perform great on the trails and have a surprising amount of traction on multi surface. Excited for Sitka to finally break into the laceup market. Now lets see them legit hunting boots.

Ascent Review

I like the overall look if that's important. The way they were advertised they were supposed to have great support, I've found that they don't come with a good incert they have no arch support. Was disappointed paying +150. 00 for "cross country hiking shoes" they should come with a decent insole don't feel they are what was advertised once again!

These shoes are amazing, the fit is perfect and it hold my foot in place while running.

The shoes fit well but were a little stiff out of the box. This was to be expected since they have a little more support in the upper than some of my trail running shoes. I walked the dog in them 4-5 times before they broke in and felt like I didn’t have any pinching near the toes. Feeling good about taking them out west and seeing how they hold up elk hunting in a few weeks.

THESE ARE GREAT

Comfortable, great traction, and look sharp. Been wearing these for about a week and so far, have really been impressed. The top part of the shoe is very comfortable and the traction has been solid. Better than what I'm used to in this type of shoe. These are great now, but might need the waterproof version once it gets wet. Add a mid!

Fit and feel are great. Durability is poor.

They have the right amount of cushion and support and true to size. Loved hiking in them. However took them on one 5 mile hike and I bet 1/8 of the lugs are damaged or torn off. I was not expecting them to be this crazy durable off trail bombproof shoe but man 1 short on trail hike.

New kicks on the block

These shoes can go toe to toe with your favorite running shoes. Strong enough to be worn all day in the field or out running errands. I’m waiting for other colors to drop!

Love it

Been wearing these around daily and they've been really comfortable. Went camping over the weekend and could definitely feel the support. Hiking over rocky terrain there was a really good balance of protection while still having some feel of the ground. I'm always a size 10 and these were spot on. Sitka nailed it with this one!
