How to Take
Your Measurements

Take measurement under armpits, around fullest part of chest and shoulder blades.

Measure around where you normally wear your pants, keeping the tape measure a bit loose or putting one finger between your body and the tape measure.

  • 3. HIP SIZE

For hip circumference, measure your fullest point, approximately 8” below your natural waist.

  • 4. INSEAM

In a standing position, measure from your crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back.

Fit Guide

SITKA Gear engineers gear with a specific Fit and intended end use in mind. These functional designs provide the user with authentic garments for the right situation. We can communicate our Fit descriptions in 3 different ways. Keep in mind that each garment will allow for layering in accordance to the garments place in a system and described Fit.

Designed for minimal layering. Whether an early season piece or already insulated this garment fits to prevent inefficiencies in heat retention caused by dead space.

Designed to accommodate layering for more versatility from early to late season climates.

Designed for maximum layering in the worst conditions. Cut roomier to accommodate additional layering underneath.

I got these pants for my 6 year old son and they are his go to pants for outside activities for cool to cold weather. We went camping and it rained two of the three days and he wore these all day and while fishing in the rain. They kept him dry and warm. Great Product.

I bought these pants for my 14yo son for his first elk hunt in New Mexico. We hiked through a lot of brush (some taller then him) and these pants held up amazing. The temperatures ranged from mid teens in the morning to low 40's in the afternoon. My son said these pants were very comfortable and warm. He wore a thin base layer under these pants. He helped field dress his elk, and the blood washed off these pants with ease after several hours of being on them. Thank you Sitka Gear for making such great products for youth hunters.

The Scrambler Pants & Jacket may very well be the most understated gear in the Sitka line.

Our daughter has used them successfully for 3 seasons in rugged conditions, including bivy hunts in snow (with base layers and other outerwear from the youth line).

The extending arms & legs have allowed her to use the same gear as she has grown over the course of several years, making the Scrambler series very cost-effective.

Sitka's Youth line has enabled her to go farther & endure longer and enjoy tremendous success on DIY hunts that lesser gear simply wouldn't have allowed.

Thaks Sitka!

My son received the Scrambler Pants and Jacket as a gift from a friend. I test gear for Gore-Tex, so I have really paid attention to how well the Scramblers perform. They have met or exceeded expectations. The DWR protects against unexpected moisture and the super-tough and seemingly-waterproof knee and bottom patches stand up to the abuse most kids dish out. These aren't mentioned in the description above but they were an awesome addition to a garment meant for children. These are the ideal hunting pants for kiddos. Buy quality gear for your child if you want them to keep coming back for more!

My son liked the warmth and flexibility and fit of this pants. The belt does not slip during movements. Pockets are adequately placed. And it seems to be a durable design.

These pants are my hunting pants. I am ten years old and like to hunt with my dad. We hunt antelope and deer, and sometimes we go scouting. I always wear these pants. They have knee and seat fabric that is really strong and tough. They are like my dad's Timberline pants. You can also let the seam out of the bottom so they get longer. I have done this once already. My dad gets to test all sorts of stuff for Gore, and I am glad he does because I feel like he did a good job with these pants. I think every kid should have them.
