The gloves fit great and

The gloves fit great and my hands felt warm in them. At temps below zero I had to add handwarmer packets, which is fine. The reason I gave them a lower rating is because I have only worn them one one week long trip and the fingertips are already cracked and worn looking. I didn't do any labor with them, just rode a snowmobile and did a little ice fish jigging. I am surprised for how expensive they are they are showing so much wear so soon. I have a really hard time finding warm gloves that fit. As a woman, most of the warm gloves are way too long in the fingers. I do appreciate that Sitka makes smaller sizes!

Sitka GTX Glove

First of all let me disclose my obsession with Sitka. I know exactly how their gear fits and they are very consistent with sizing. This lets me almost entirely eliminate returns due to sizing. The GTX glove fits me just like the old Patanal Glove which is now my backup set. The insulation is just right. Enough to keep my 64 year old fingers warm but not too much so tasks that require some dexterity are still possible. The glove feels a little beefier than the Pantanal with the leather palm but in a good way. The cuff allows the gloves to be put on and taken off with ease. I haven’t put them through a season of waterfowl hunting yet but I anticipate the gloves to be just warm and waterproof as their other Gore-Tex products. I would buy again without hesitation.

My hands were cold and wet

Very disappointed with this very expensive glove that isn’t waterproof or warm. During Arkansas duck season my hands wet and cold from the second timeI wore them and quit using them after 5 tries. Waste of money . Disappointed as I have a lot of Sitka gear.

Warmest gloves

Super glove, fit well have kept my hands warmer than other gloves I have had that were very similar in price and product discrimination. My right figures do get cold after a while but that is due to frostbite from years ago.

The leather on the palm literally freezes wet

Blizzard gtx glove

I’m 5-6, have average size hands, ordered xl size gloves. Very difficult to put gloves on. The hand opening is 2 small to fit hand through. I’ve ordered several pairs of gloves and they all have run extremely small. Would be nice to have larger hand opening with perhaps a Velcro wrist strap to cinch up once on.

Good gloves but go with incinerator gloves

The reason for the low rating is that SITKA makes a better glove, the incinerator. These gloves are very loud and less functional in my opinion.
